Iraqi troops from the 23rd Iraqi Army Brigade, training at Camp Taji say they are ready to be given weapons.
They have had their loud noise training and no longer cry and shake when startled. Many are confident that if they were given weapons to shoot they would keep their eyes open.
Major Hatton who is the officer commanding of the urban operations training at the camp says, "I want to believe them but I've been hurt before and have difficulty with trusting them, maybe next year."
