Radio Prank That Killed Nurse

You may have heard about the prank call an Australian radio show made to the hospital that Kate Middleton was barfing in.
The call happened 5.30am GMT and since there was no receptionist at that time in the morning  a nurse by the name of Jacintha Saldanha who was 46 and had two children answered the phone and put it through to the duchess's nurse who unwittingly gave information on Kate's condition .

Jacintha like many nurses in the NHS had English as her second language and so when someone puts on an English accent Queen voice she could be forgiven for not catching on that it was fake.

We don't know the details of how Jacintha took her life but she did.

Everyone is deeply saddened and talking about what a wonderful nurse she was, they are also quick to say that she had not been suspended or disciplined by the hospital.  Also that at no point did the palace complain to the hospital about the incident.

That doesn't mean to say that she didn't get a bollocking and a promise of future bollockings and disciplinary action after Kate leaves the  hospital.

The Palace is a very powerful entity that can gag the British press when Kate gets her tits out. This was a high profile story and people have been fired for less, that was probably her future and at Christmas time too.

Jacintha was probably questioned and felt very bad about this. I can just guess how she'd be treated over this fuck up. The British press, the people and the higher ups can be very unforgiving.

Its a very sad case and the ultimate one upmanship for Jacintha.
