Conspiracy Theory

I was being chauffeured down the hyperlink road by my robot driver in my flying car and I was watching a news holocast.
Nasa have announced that they are to build a base on the Moon. In 2008 they will send probes and to drop off cans of beans and some MDF boards onto the surface and then in 2024 there will be a fully manned station, so write it on your calendars.
Does this news just not get noticed by others are maybe I am a total beautiful mind that sees all sorts of crazy connections ?

What about the War Of Terror ? you know the one that Bob Gates just said we weren't winning (well duh) does war not take billions of dollars to fund ? assuming you're serious about it of course (no evidence to that so far) how many billions will it take for Nasa to plan, research and then dismiss the moon base idea again? but it stops you talking about the war right?

In 1959 Nasa also talked about a Moonbase, that was the time of the Cold war, Cuba had just been taken over by Castro and the first 2 Americans were killed in Vietnam.

In 1972 still during the time of Nam when public opinion about the war was well against them they came up with another plan for a Moonbase .

In the late 80's a base was also mentioned , the berlin wall had not come doon yet, Tiananmen Square was big news and the space shuttle Columbia was carrying out a secret 5 day mission, not to mention the CIA trained forces in Afghanistan (that included Bin Laden) beat the Russians and went on to form their now famous Taliban Government.

Now at a time of woe for the American Government with yet another unpopular war that's been going on for 5 years already Nasa has come up with their pitiful excuse for a distraction, but if you have enough distractions it keeps the people busy, " senator expendable, we need you to take a dive for the cause, go fuck your sectary, what ? you already are ? is it a guy by any chance ? because that would be so cool, we could get Pat Robertson to comment about it, that's 6 months , of war distraction news".

Has America ever won a war that didn't have a clear goal to achieve ?

America has dabbled in world affairs for years, some jobs have been dirtier than others especially when done in the middle east which is too close to Europe and 10 million camera phones, with the growth in technology they have found they no longer have a free reign in latin America either, Chavez may be a twat but hes on to the States.
The world is getting smaller for the spooks.
Sure The UK has bloody hands too but our quaintness and natural superiority still earns us some respect, and then theres the Queen and tea drinking, see ? you can't stay mad at us for long, well the Irish can but they are a stubborn lot.

I don't mind an increase in arms, legs, weapons the lot, its a dangerous place out there and enemies have been well earned. I just want goverments to stop talking doon to us. The American system is set up so that the common man doesn't have a direct say in its dealings and being such a big place makes it quite effective, Treat the people like mushrooms, keep them in the dark and feed them on shit, just like this Blog.

Its the 21st century, there are no Moonbases and flying cars as promised, we are fatter, dumber and more apathetic than ever, I just ask you to do one thing, that's always question the hype and if people say you are mad ask them to lick the ketchup from out of yer arse crack as its getting kind of yucky.

Two lines from the movie 12 Monkeys.

"I am insane and you are my insanity".

" TV to the Bozos ".

No, you are my insanity. But you make a valid point.
Britain has never lost a war it didn't start, but never won one that it did.
In fact, the same could be said for most countries.
Those who ignore the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it, or something like that.

"Remember Carthage!" Shouts the slave,
"Yes yes, you've told us! Shut the fuck up for the love of Mithras!"
"But you told me to remind you every day," wails the slave
"Someone cap that bastard," shout the Senate
"Woe woe and thrice woe," bemoans the hapless slave
"Right! About this Moon Base..." says Cicero, greatest of orators, "For or agin?"

Interesting connection between NASA and foreign policies. NASA is like its own animal--huge and with a secret budget. No one seems to know how much they spend and on what exactly. It always seem to be on the fringe of regular governmental activities, that we forget it's even part of the government. It's science, right?

NASA scares me. The CIA spooks scare me. Knudsen, sometimes you scare me with your beautiful mind connections.

I want a moonbase!
I've been waiting for one since Space 1999 was on telly. I want those girls in silver wigs and miniskirts. I want crap plastic spaceships (I know; we got those already). And that silly bint who can change into animals.

Our government doesn't want a moonbase because all those moon people will flood into the country and take our jobs and our weemen.
