Sorry Not Sorry For Your Loss

His first military death, one and he's done

Just when you think Trump cannot fuck things up more. For 12 days he ignored the 4 fallen soldiers ambushed by insurgents in Niger. He tweeted about everything else but not them. He played golf and gave speeches but never mentioned the troops that he claims to support.

After being called out about it by the media he stumbled with excuses saying he wrote, will write will or maybe has sent out letters and that phoning the families is difficult and is also a hit and miss thing. Bush and Obama never phoned all the families.

So yes he did make it about himself and the hardships of dealing with emotional people then blame shifted ... the usual Trump crap.

Look at those smug Kushners, why do they still have security clearances?

Remember his first military death? William “Ryan”Owens a navy SEAL killed 9 days into Trump's administration. Killed in a cluster fuck of an op in Yemen. Trump rolled out the widow who was still visibly grieving and spoke about her husband and how he would be happy cos he's getting a standing ovation and great ratings.

Old Knudsen was disgusted but his supporters refused to see that any of it was inappropriate, just like the pussy grabbing talk. Like angry teens they lash out and blame something on Hillary rather than face the issue of them being wrong and Trump being morally bankrupt and probably compromised by Putin.

Military are killed all the time, it happens. It's a sad and tragic loss every time though. The tragedy was made worse by the silence of their commander in chief. That fucker tweeted about everything and whined about not getting enough TV and too many negative news stories about.

As these soldiers with no backup came under fire from 50 insurgents do you think they thought, 'could be worse I could be in a Twitter feud or something?'

They were out in the real world facing real world shit not tweeting on the toilet like a spoiled toddler.
It is just heartbreaking

Myeshia Johnson the pregnant widow of  Sgt La David Johnson was in a car with her Democrat congresswoman Frederica Wilson. They took a 5 minute call from Trump. Johnson still in shock obviously she could only listen to the president. During his little ramble he said:

"But you know he must have known what he signed up for"

Johnson was able to just say a "Thank you" at the end of the call but Wilson wanted to cuss him out. Sgt Johnson from Miami-Dade county Florida is a hero and Wilson made sure that people knew it.

General Kelly lost his son Robert in Afghanistan in 2010. He did not want too much media coverage because he knew that others had lost loved ones too and his loss was just as bad but not greater solely because he's a General.

That's called leadership and dignity.

After Trump went on the defensive about not phoning the families he blamed Obama. He said that Obama never phoned General Kelly when his son died ... yes he used General Kelly's dead son to score points.

As per protocol I'm sure that Obama did phone Robert's spouse Heather. So as usual Trump is technically right but it's also a bit of a lie too.

Some think that Kelly should resign over this. Old Knudsen has a big question mark over Kelly's integrity since he didn't resign over the Nazi enabling and several other things. I bet Kelly justifies it all by saying that he is keeping the world safe by not letting Trump near the launch codes.

Sorry for your loss but shit happens, have to go my shows are coming on, have a good time.

In the military depending what regiment you are in there is the chance you might be killed. You have to give that some thought before you join. There is also the chance that you might have to kill. Something else you have to think about.
You don't want to do either but if a war comes you don't want to have to go AWOL in Canada to avoid it because you just wanted to play soldier for a while to get money for college.

You don't sign up to be killed that isn't in the contract. You sign up to serve. Sometimes learning a trade or to get money for college is a motivation or you are just looking for adventure. Many times it's to be a part of something greater something noble. You sure won't get rich being a grunt.

I hope that Trump's lack of leadership, his lack of empathy and all round disrespect to those who serve gets through to some of his supporters.

Did he say this to the others grieving widows or did he just save it for the black one?

We've heard what he's said about captured POW's he has no use for them. He also has no use for dead soldiers either unless it's to get ratings from their grieving widows.

Trump is a cowardly, selfish bully who has spent his 71 years on Earth only thinking about himself. He only has a use for people if he can use them to score points off others or to get something else.

He used his own son to appear the victim when Kathy Griffin took a picture of a fake Trump head covered in ketchup. Barron was just happy that Trump remembered he had a younger son. Family values are important says the man who spends every weekend away from his 11 year-old son.

Then using Kelly's dead son to blame Obama.

History will not look back on the Trump admin favorably. Is scoring points against the left really worth your self respect, dignity and nation?

Not A Hero

Marine Sergeant Alexander Blackman was serving in Helmand Province Afghanistan in 2011. The Royal Marine Commandos are an elite regiment and held up to high standards.

An incident occurred in which a Taliban fighter wounded by an Apache helicopter was dragged across a field and kicked by Marines. It was covered by a camera on a balloon as well as a couple of helmet cameras.

Blackman order a Marine to stop giving the wounded unarmed captive first aid treatment. He pulled out his 9 mil pistol and said "Shuffle off this mortal coil, you cunt it's nothing you wouldn't do to us" then he shot him in the chest. He added "I just broke the Geneva Convention."

Seems he liked to pose for heroic looking pics

After Blackman was sentenced to 10 years for murder his Lieutenant Colonel of 42 Commando Simon Chapman said Blackman had his full support and had suffered a "momentary ... lapse of judgment"

Colonel Oliver Lee, commanding officer of 45 Commando resigned in protest at how Blackman was treated.

It was war. Maybe he had done other shit he had gotten away with. It's amazing what you'll do when you think there are no consequences. He killed a wounded unarmed captive for no reason. After he had made him suffer with no first aid treatment.

I don't give a fuck what officer supports you and a lapse of judgement? It was a couple of lapses.

Ciarán Maxwell a Royal Marine from Larne Northern Ireland was found guilty of offenses related to dissident republicanism. He had buried bomb making parts and over a length of time stole military weapons.

The vetting process has eased off over the years with soldiers from Northern Ireland. When Old Knudsen was in the British army during the Troubles the English NCO's often joked at how soldiers from Northern Ireland were just there for military training and were all terrorists. We were scum to English soldiers though we ran the same if not increased risks in our homeland. We had family that could be easily targeted.

You now understand why people saying that all Muslims or refugees are terrorists gets Old Knudsen's back up.

Blackman and Maxwell, both in the elite Royal Marine Commandos have sullied the reputation of the regiment. Just as soldiers of the Parachute regiment which is another elite one ruined its rep during Bloody Sunday.

So many lapses in judgement from so many well trained full of themselves elitists. When you think you are better than everyone else you think the rules don't apply to you. Add in the stress and surreal world of combat and blurred lines without consequences becomes a thing.

Old Knudsen has respect for these elite regiments, doesn't mean he likes them though. They are a part of the British army and when they fuck up with their "lapses" it reflects on the whole military.

These guys served without honour and I refuse to make excuses for them. Old Knudsen never supported terrorists nor did he execute unarmed wounded captives. Just like those that blame PTSD for a vet killing someone. Old Knudsen suffers from that and he has managed not to kill anyone.

US Navy SEAL's enjoyed their shoot to kill freedom a little too much too. They made sport of it with a practice called canoeing. This was getting head shots that would split the skull. Not just kill shots but on already dead fighters too. Soldiers kept photo albums of each canoe.

There are soldiers who serve with honor, then there are Blackman, Maxwell and the SEAL's who write books on how they killed Osama or write books and have movies made on their sniper activity.

Two SEAL's claimed to have killed Osama but the one that did will never write a book about it.

Thank A Baby Killer

Probably didn't kill any babies but hey he might have

Over the last 20 years it has become trendy to put veterans onto a pedestal. The flag loving civvie demands you show respect because someone did something that they didn't and everything they know about the military comes from movies.

Snipers used to be the pariah of the military as for some reason soldiers thought it was more honorable to be face to face with the enemy when you kill them though bomber pilots were never thought of the same way as a sniper was.

After some movies sniping became cool and even though Chris Kyle lied/exaggerated about shit including what medals he got and his kills he was still considered a hero by many.

Clint Eastwood makes a crappy movie about an invading force killing people from afar. I wonder if he'd make the same movie but with Russian soldiers in Ukraine instead, same kind of premise, neither side should be there.

Being a veteran myself I don't get the adulation and think it's dangerous glorifying the military. The saccharine thanks and demands that vets be treated special and outrage when a flag is burned is just bullshit. It was a job they didn't put their boots on and say, "gots to go and earn some freedom for asswipes to bully others with ... oh and the flag" they got paid or if they were drafted they didn't have a choice.

Those who join up after falling for all the jingoistic crap no doubt got schooled real fast. Pat Tillman gave up an NFL career for the red white and blue and was shot dead by accident by his own side. A reminder that death and war can be more stupid than glorious. The Bush admin lied about his death and used it to recruit more calling him a martyr hero until they were caught out.

Still no shouts of "jail Bush" ... very odd.

We don't need your thanks but I'm sure American vets enjoy the reduced Disneyland tickets and other discounts they get.

Civvies are stupid and are usually held in contempt by those who have served. Not all, just the ones that ask how many Japs you killed etc. Rebecca Landis Hayes parked in a veteran's parking space at the grocery store in North Carolina. She doesn't usually but the two spaces were empty.

When she got out there was a note on her car.

She thought that someone had hit her car but no it was civvie stupidity. After 8 years in the Navy she had more than earned the right to park there but civvies only think men can be veterans. Such a lack of basic intelligence.

In the 19th veterans of the The Crimean War were given social housing priority on streets named after battles like Balaclava, Inkerman and Sevastopol. You have vets with PTSD and a constant reminder of it everyday. Not too smart.

John Kerry on the right

The Vietnam war had veterans being despised. No home coming parades and being spat on and called baby killers in the street. None of those soldiers wanted to be there, many were drafted or if like the President elect you could get out of it with a vague medical condition that didn't prevent you playing sports you did.

I'm too rich and important to die, let the poor people fight the war.

Can you blame someone for not wanting to enlist? It's disgusting that rich people could get out of it while others couldn't but to be pro-serve your country in war is dumb if it's an unjust war. Yay you get to kill some Gooks thousands of miles away because they are Commies ... awesome!

The most patriotic, sabre rattling people are usually chicken hawks. Civvies that don't mine others going to war.
Trump of course is worse than most as he disrespects everyone unless they have a use to him. He slagged off a POW who was tortured and slagged off the parents of a fallen soldier, now Trump is commander in chief.

Obama is a chicken hawk too but at least he showed respect. His coffee cup salute really isn't as bad as calling captured pilots losers. I'm not demanding you show respect because they turned up for war, just show some decency towards them.

Secretary of State John Kerry has walked the walk. He won the Silver Star for bravery and 3 Purple Hearts which means he was wounded 3 times in the line of duty.

He went back to Vietnam to the place the crew of his PCF94 swift boat were ambushed. He spoke with
Vo Ban Tam who was on the Viet Cong side that night.

The VC had an RPG and were shooting at Kerry's boat to make them move into the line of fire for the RPG. Kerry jumped ashore and shot the RPG soldier dead thus saving the lives of his crew. That was some brave shit from the then 26 year-old Navy lieutenant.

Vo Bam Tam knew the fighter that Kerry had killed, he was 24 year-old Ba Thanh. I don't know how much closure this has given Kerry. You could say it wasn't Kerry's fault and if he hadn't killed him his crew would have died, it makes sense but with emotion, guilt and war there is no clean cut sense to be had.

When Kerry returned States side he joined the anti-war protest. Things got ugly and they were branded traitors and Commies yet soldiers weren't regarded very highly either ... make up yer fucken minds.

Would anyone that served actually join a pro-war protest? How stupid would you have to be to be pro-war? War has its place but should only be a last resort not something to protect monetary interests or to bully other nations as per the up and coming invasion of Mexico.

Kerry is a boring dry shite that looks like George Washington or Herman Munster. He could actually be a reincarnation of ol George himself. If Washington ran for preez today his military record, switching allegiances and his many military failures would have him lose.

Washington was brave but had his moments of crying in front of the troops. John Kerry was called a traitor and a flip flopper for merely speaking out about Nam just think if he had changed sides like Washington for fucks sake.

Kerry failed in his Whitehouse bid with vets speaking against him and people claiming that he had shot a teenager during that ambush. I don't see what difference that would make. If a woman or 10 year-old was about to shoot an RPG at you then you have full permission to kill them before they do.  That's war bitches.

If you were really worried about teens, women or children getting killed you wouldn't be very supportive of Obama and his drones. Out of sight out of mind.

People pick and choose who they venerate and who and what demands unquestioning obedience. It has nothing to do with actual life experience. If they gave a thought to the atrocites carried out by some military (not every vet shot a gun or dropped bombs) personnel upon the innocent would they yap on about their precious flag?

They they probably would because blind patriotism and nationalism is only for the incredibly stupid and yes the sheeple.
Without jingoism no one would join up for the never ending war. Now it's sweetened with college money and home loans while in reality many service families are on food stamps or go to food banks.

Sing yer cuntry songs about how proud you are to be whatever you are but remember that the other side is thinking the exact same thing just different names and faces.

We Could Be Heroes

And no fucks were given about his North Korean sense of style.

Two men that Old Knudsen has admired throughout the years has been Theodore Roosevelt and Winston Churchill. Both men did come from privileged families but over came obstacles in their youth that many of us face to go on to become Iconic leaders.
Products of their time maybe, they were bigger than life and a tad racist no doubt. Churchill believed in eugenics and thought the genocide of the Native Americans and the Australian Aborigines was social Darwinian hierarchy taking over like with a superior and advanced race taking the place of a people that couldn't stand against them.

Yes he was for gassing the Kurds and Afghans but that gas was to be tear gas. He was in favour of gassing the Turks with mustard gas in WWI but everyone else was using it then so whatever.

The famine in Bengal in 1943 that killed 3 million gets laid at Churchill's feet too as he got the region to continue to export rice for the war effort. Remember how he blew up the French fleet killing all those servicemen to avoid the fleet getting into German hands? Tough choices on who has to die have to be made especially during a war.

Most of his books were about the outdoor's life.

Roosevelt didn't like Native Americans and said that the amount of black men in the US was a "terrible problem." He also in contradiction said that a man should be judged on his merit than his skin colour. He didn't like the hyphenated Irish-American or African-American, he said they should all be Americans.

How can Old Knudsen admire these two? From the Star Trek episode Space Seed, Kirk tells Spock "We can be against him and admire him at the same time."

Theodore never liked Churchill but Winston had a life long admiration for him. Alice Roosevelt Longworth, Roosevelt's daughter said it was because "they were so much alike."

Roosevelt also disliked Lord Randolph, Winston's father so maybe that dislike just got passed down to his son.
Both had tattoos, Roosevelt had the family crest on his chest and Churchill had an anchor on his arm. Both changed party allegiance, both were prolific writers, Roosevelt wrote 18 books while Churchill wrote 51 and both wrote about the war of 1812.
Roosevelt did praise Churchill on his serialized publication in Strand magazine titled My African Journey as both were big game hunters. Churchill heard that he liked it and sent him a copy of the book to which Roosevelt begrudgingly said how he supposes that he must write to him then.

Roosevelt called him an ugly redheaded fellow.

Both were famed for acts of daring during war. Roosevelt was the hero of the Spanish-American war in Cuba and Churchill took part in the last major cavalry charge in British history at the Battle of Omdurman and also escaped from the Boers in South Africa.

Both liked to be naked. Roosevelt took to skinny dipping in rivers and Churchill just like to let it all hang out.

Both begged to be let in on the action in WWI. After numerous set backs Churchill was demoted and placed in a lower position, he resigned and became a lieutenant colonel of the Royal Scot Fusiliers on the Western Front.

At 58 Roosevelt begged to be let into WWI to lead 200,000 troops in France but was told no. His son Quentin was a pilot and was killed in action in 1918, he was aged 20.

Both Roosevelt and Churchill both claimed to have seen Lincoln's ghost at the White House.

Roosevelt  was born a sickly child with serious asthma problems but undertook strenuous exercise and became fit and strong enough to enjoy boxing though it left him almost blind in his left eye. He saw heroes of the civil war and even admired his own father so that he knew he wanted to be that sort of man.

"My father, Theodore Roosevelt, was the best man I ever knew. He combined strength and courage with gentleness, tenderness, and great unselfishness. He would not tolerate in us children selfishness or cruelty, idleness, cowardice, or untruthfulness."

Doctors told Teddy that he had a weak heart and to not exert himself, so he did the opposite and even climbed the Matterhorn.

Both Roosevelt and Churchill were Nobel Peace prize winners.
Churchill under achieved academically and had to over come a stutter and a lisp. He never achieved his father's approval though went from jeers to cheers at the House of Commons so fuck the haters huh. He suffered depression and named it his "black dog" which really affected him in his last 10 years of life when his physical health was failing.

Churchill's Ma hated him smoking and said how silly he looked with one in his mouth. She bet him a pony that he couldn't give it up for 6 months, he did and as soon as he won the bet he started smoking again.

So Roosevelt fought poor physical health issues, the former New York City Police Commissioner and war hero survived an assassination attempt in 1912 while out campaigning, with a bullet in his chest he gave a speech for 90 minutes, he didn't win but still .... fucking awesome. That stopped some of his active lifestyle and he became obese afterwards.

He never got over the loss of his son Quintin and died a year after his son in his sleep from a blood clot aged 60.
After a stroke that left Churchill ill he died aged 90, seventy years to the day that his father had died.

Both men succeeded through force of will and strength of character to become living legends. While they had their faults as everyone does they both believed in the welfare state which looks after the vulnerable of society so they couldn't have been that bad.

I could have worse heroes.

Take Trump's Breath Away

I feel the need, the need for a nap.

John McCain is in the news yet again, not because he's running for president and has chosen a total moron as his running mate or because he is over in Iraq funding and training ISIS terrorists but because Donald Trump slagged him off. The Maverick has taken a broadside from the loose cannon.

You know what your problem is McCain? .... you're dangerous.
The Don said,

"He is a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren't captured, OK? I hate to tell you. He is a war hero because he was captured. OK, you can have -- I believe perhaps he is a war hero."

"I think John McCain’s done very little for the veterans. I’m very disappointed in John McCain."

Like many tough talkers Trump got deferments to avoid serving.

In 1967 McCain was shot down over Vietnam, his leg and both arms were broken, the VC got to him and smashed his shoulder with a rifle butt and stuck a bayonet into his foot. Over the next 5 and a half years he was beaten and tortured, his wounds were not treated and he wasn't expected to live. When they found out he was the son of an admiral he got better treatment and was forced to make a propaganda video denouncing the US.

Trump got student deferments and a medical deferment for a foot thing, he then didn't get called up when they introduced the Vietnam lottery in 1969. The biggest hardship Trump faced was keeping out of nam and collecting rents in low income neighbourhoods for his Da. He wrote about the horror of these people who'd throw their trash out the window rather than put it into the dumpster in his memoirs.

McCain is an asshole and while he hasn't done a lot for veterans, they will admit that he has helped them, not all the time but sometimes.

Kit Carson

Is John McCain a hero? The good Senator from Arizona has been forcing Navajo/Hopi injuns off their land to get at the water and mining rights, that doesn't sound heroic then again Kit Carson the 1800's  frontiersman, mountain man, Indian agent and US army officer was classed as a hero. He even had dime novels written about his exploits.

He killed and scalped Indians, he destroyed whole villages with hundreds of people in them and the fucker cut doon the Navajo's sacred peach trees. Who knows how many villages McCain destroyed during his bombing runs.

The word hero gets used way too much and too easily. McCain served and since he had a record of crashing planes then the chances of him being eye to eye with the enemy were high. He got caught, was tortured and broken, he tried to kill himself but was prevented he survived, it wasn't heroism, it was survival. Sure he was brave but Donald does have a point that he only became a hero because he got caught. Also because he went into politics and yer military record gets used for political gain.

I think being called a hero is like a consolation prize then again these days you get awards for a sex change and get called a hero for winning races.

The US military give purple hearts for anyone who gets wounded. You fail and get wounded so you get a medal? .... one more medal than those who did their job better or were luckier got.  Some use the old, 'he gave more than most' excuse and how McCain can't lift his hands over his head, doesn't stop him from taking kick backs and being a dick.

He survived and did a lot better than many vets thanks to his life of privilege. Many other vets aren't being called a hero and have to fight for every drop of health care they get. I bet McCain doesn't have to wait at a VA for treatment.

Call McCain a war veteran, not a war hero, he ain't no Audie Murphy. Though I do understand yer politically correct need to call him a hero. It's bad that it takes a slagging off from Trump to have people rally round and cheer for a scumbag they usually wouldn't give the time of day to, Trump has that effect on people.

Winston Churchill Tribute

Entertaining the troops with Field Marshal Montgomery.

50 years since his death at the age of 90, the stories of how the soldiers carrying his coffin nearly dropped him are coming out and every British politician concerned about their image instantly loves him.

As a student he was crap at most subjects, especially math but excelled in history and English composition. He was so bad at languages that he took a 2 hour Latin test and only filled in his name and the number of the first question. Who the fuck speaks Latin anyways .... besides Latin American and their pigs and they want the Falkland islands so they can fuck off .

A seven year-old slacker who loved playing with toy soldiers.

The head master at his boy's school said the 10 year-old Churchill could be trusted to do nothing and had no ambition ..... stoopid 10 year-old, that head master really called it.

He was raised with constant accusations of being slovenly and lazy, his father was one of his most harsh of critics:
"I am certain that if you cannot prevent yourself from leading the idle useless unprofitable life you have had during your schooldays & later months, you will become a mere social wastrel, one of the hundreds of public school failures, and you will degenerate into a shabby unhappy & futile existence."

You ain't never gonna amount to nuthin.

Maybe to please his father who suggested he join the military he took the entrance exam to get into Sandhurst military college and and failed, only after getting a tutor he barely got in the third time but only for the Calvary which had lower standards than the infantry, that is the opposite of the modern day military.
He graduated 20th out of a class of 130 so he was indeed a quick learner.

He never received his father's approval and after his father died it was as if he tried harder to gain that approval posthumously. The 20 year-old was becoming a man:

"Solitary trees, if they grow at all, grow strong; and a boy deprived of a father's care often develops, if he escapes the perils of youth, an independence and vigor of thought which may restore in after life the heavy loss of early days."

He saw combat on three continents, won four medals and an order, was mentioned in dispatches and wrote five books winning the Nobel Prize in Literature at the age of 80 ... what have you done?

Standing with a Tommy holding a Tommy gun.

Isn't it amazing that with the constant berating he received throughout his life that he was confident enough to do anything? Even severe failures during his time as Lord of the Admiralty didn't make him curl up into a ball. He battled depression throughout his life but he kept all of that private, showing a determined 'we must win' attitude in public.

Lincoln wishes he was Churchill cool.

No matter what you think of Churchill there is no denying that he was one of the greatest figures of the 20th century. While Hitler, his peer in Germany got called 'that little corporal' and will be thought of by history as a short dude like that other megalomaniac Napoleon, Hitler was just over 5 foot 8 inches tall while Churchill was 5 foot 6 inches, no one ever mentions that because Churchill was bigger than life for the right reasons.

Winston Churchill with little Kaiser Wilhelm II

Regarded as a glory seeker he was certainly brave, his criticism of the British high command in his early books meant that he was out of favour with General Kitchener and so while others may have gotten medals for bravery he did not, no wonder he told newspapers about his own exploits, the establishment was against him getting recognition, though he deserved it.
He believed he'd be kept safe for something big in the future, dying in battle was not on the cards for him. "I do not believe the Gods would create so potent a being as myself for so prosaic an ending."

Old Knudsen never liked Gandhi, sure he was great at the old peaceful protest thing and does a mean quote in Facebook memes but I've never liked him. Churchill had no love for him either and when Gandhi went on a hunger strike Churchill was all for letting him die. Keeping India British was very important to the British empire. He called Gandhi, " A seditious Middle Temple lawyer now posing as a fakir of a type well known in the East."
Today we are shocked that American sniper Chris Kyle referred to Iraqis as savages, Churchill said that the Zulus, Afghans and Dervishes were "savages and barbarous peoples."

If you go into a country as an oppressor yer not exactly going to see the people at their best. Gandhi knew how to brand himself and portray what the public wanted .... like most of the best leaders throughout history.

I like Ike and North korea liked Winnie's clothes.

Churchill was a 'if you are not with us you are against us' type and while Ireland remained neutral during WWII they weren't really neutral. I don't mean the IRA siding with the Nazis, I mean the Irish government letting the British and Americans use their air space and reporting on German ship movements off their coast. The Irish government could not bring themselves to publicly side with the British, not even against the evil Nazis. Churchill described Ireland as, "at war but skulking."

While some recent news stories had Churchill flirting with a conversion to Islam, that wasn't really an option. He did show an interest as he was a very curious person.  "Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die: but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it."

Churchill was raised Church of England which is the state religion of the UK. He admitted to praying during difficult times even though all his logic and reason saw it as kinda pointless if only to give him comfort and to collect his thoughts, he was more agnostic than anything.

"If you tried your best to live an honorable life and did your duty and were faithful to friends and not unkind to the weak and poor, it did not matter much what you believed or disbelieved."
In the first edition of his book The River War he denounced Islam as being dangerous and that
Mohammedanism was a militant and proselytizing faith that kept people in the stone age and enslaved women ... unlike Christianity of course which is the exact same. He must have changed his mind as he deleted that view of Islam from later editions.

Better memes than Gandhi.

A great man with many faults like anyone else, he overcame being written off as a child and being sickly and clumsy with a stammer. He rallied himself and the nation during low points, his dozens of quotes could sound like a self- help manual, "If you are going through Hell, keep going" he always seemed to spot the dangers in the world while others saw what they wanted to see instead of reality .... that made him unpopular as who wants the truth if it's harsh?

This beat is sick!

I dislike the fawning over him especially by right-wing politicians who aren't fit to tie his shoe laces. He was a political opportunist, while he may have been in the Conservative party and known as a Conservative they considered him a trouble maker and a wild card and kicked him out in 1904, he then became a Liberal MP. With David Lloyd George he reformed British society bringing in old age pensions, unemployment and sickness benefits that still exist today. These were to be paid for by taxing the wealthy.

"He knew that Britain was not just a place on the map but a force in the world, with a destiny to shape events and a duty to stand up for freedom".... David Cameron fat baby headed PM of Engerland.

Taxing the rich brought accusations of being a socialist .... sound familiar America? Churchill sought to make the difference of Liberalism and Socialism in his speeches: "Liberalism seeks to raise up poverty. Socialism would destroy private property; Liberalism would preserve private interests in the only way in which they can be safely and justly preserved, namely, by reconciling them with public right. Socialism would kill enterprise; Liberalism would rescue enterprise from the trammels of privilege and preference. Socialism assails the pre-eminence of the individual; Liberalism seeks, and shall seek more in the future, to build up a minimum standard for the mass. Socialism exalts the rule; Liberalism exalts the man. Socialism attacks capital; Liberalism attacks monopoly."

A heavey handed imperialist he did save the world. April 9 will be Winston Churchill Day, the anniversary of the 1963 ceremony in which President John F. Kennedy declared him an honourary U.S. citizen, only 6 other people have gotten that. While his mother was American he wasn't born in the US.
Hero or villain? That is a matter of perspective, to Old Knudsen he was a hero.

Stolen Valor

On Black Friday in a Mall near Philadelphia a former infantryman with the 101st Airborne Division sees a big fat bloke in a US army Rangers uniform talking to an awestruck kid about his experiences in the elite Ranger unit.
The veteran Ryan Beck heard the baldy dude mention special forces and just knew there was something not right with him.

So he called him over saying that his son likes to meet members of the military and then asks him the basic questions like what unit yer in etc. The bald dude, Sean Yetman aged 30 was able to answer the questions fine but after a while his answers became just bullshit.

He was missing a patch (he says he gave it to a kid) but his US flag patch was too low. Yetman said, "you got on that one buddy" and fixed old glory.

Yetman claimed to be a Staff Sergeant and said he was out shopping with his Sergeant Major .... like you do.

Beck asked about Yetman's 3 CIB's (Combat Infantryman badges) which he said he got in Afghanistan but quickly changed his answer to 2 in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. Beck pointed out that you only get one per theater of war you've served in which seems to be the world wide way of doing it.
In WWII yer unit may have been sent over to France to fight, then back to Britain then over to France again depending on how the war is going and that could happen several times but you'd only get one medal for yer service in Europe.

I know the Yanks love to give out medals, Beck himself was given a Purple heart. Getting a medal for being shite and getting wounded, pretty unreal. How about giving medals like the Zero injury heart?

Old Knudsen never lies nor does he brag but he has been given more medals than you've had hot dinners and going by yer fat belly that's a lot. During WWII Old Knudsen actually received a Victoria Cross for valour and an Iron Cross in the same week ..... now that's a story to tell, except I still have to keep me head down for alleged war crimes so I won't be telling it.

In WWI they gave me over sized pennies for killing Germans .... I'd do that kinda shit for free.

In the US, passing yerself off as a veteran violates the Stolen Valour act, wearing military awards like the Medal of Honor, Navy Cross or Purple Heart  “to obtain money, property, or other tangible benefit” is illegal.
Is Yetman breaking the Stolen Valour act? He gets out of it the feeling like he's a big man. He comes across as a soft spoken pussy and so probably has psychological issues about being dismissed or even bullied and it feels good for him to be a hero.

Then again some of the stores in the Mall do offer a military discount and constitutes his actions to be illegal.

In 2003 Yetman pleaded guilty to impersonating a police officer, maye IHOP were giving cops free pancakes, he looks like he'd take advantage of that in a clogged heartbeat.

While Yetman could pass a a regular army grunt he definitely does not look like Ranger material, the Rangers are an elite unit .... for Americans that is. Now don't go thinking that by this picture Old Knudsen claims to be a Navy SEAL, Old Knudsen is an Otter which is even more elite, sometimes I go and train or toughen them up them as SEAL's are good, just not Otter good.

This lass has been faking it for years.

There seems to be many military fakers, one claimed to be the most decorated Navy SEAL ever and had a self defence school before being exposed as an ex-con who had never served, then you have Jesse Ventura who was a Frogman but claims to be a SEAL. He even sued Chris Kyle for slander, even continuing the lawsuit after Kyle was killed, I hope you choke on yer $1.8 million, certainly not the actions of a Navy SEAL.

Navy SEAL's and other hero types are just like Old Knudsen, quiet and unassuming, very modest and never bragging. Those SEAL's arguing about who shot Osama need to wise up .... besides, it was I who fired the fatal shot.

Cartman here has only served ... himself at buffets.

The most despicable man in the US is JohnnyB34435, his real name John Elmo Sheppard jr. He claims to wear a uniform so he can eat for free at the Golden Corral and get into WWE matches for free too. While he pretends to be a vet on YouTube he mocks and slags off the military, he's a conspiracy theory nut as well ... yes he does like Jesse Ventura so the lad is definitely not all there. A Facebook page  against him has almost 2,000 LIKES. Please feel free to LIKE it as this bloke is a real mouthy piece of shit.

I really doubt that she is a real soldier ... sometimes only other soldiers can tell.

While poor Yetman gets death threats and spirals into depression maybe he'll eventually learn and stop being a dick. Others who have served kinda take offense when civvies or just losers try to cash in on a reputation or name of the real deal.

That is why Old Knudsen gets disgusted when UVF lovers and other Fleggers dress in their WWI costumes and march around as if only Protestants from Northern Ireland were the only ones to have served in WWI ...... not that any of those pussies ever served, they are too busy pretending to be hard men and selling drugs for the Queen and Loyalist culture cos they are loyal an shit. As if they could pass the tests for the military, I they couldn't even make it into the Navy.

Like the way you have orange caps on the end of fake guns, all these cunts should wear bright orange caps on their heads.

A Day Late And A Dollar Short

I was young and still had the spark of idealism in my eye and a green discharge from me knob.

The 7th of December 1941 is said to be a day that will live on in in fammy. I have no idea what that means probably said by someone who was fucking well there.

World war two started in 1939 in case you Yanks didn't realise that and I'd already killed my quota of enemy by then and earned enough air miles and holiday time so I decided to go to Hawaii not for rest and relaxation but to learn from the Yanks how to fly the latest fighter planes.

During WWI, I once stole a German plane called a Focker. I flew that Focker dropping little bags of feces onto the enemy to count coup as the red Injuns taught me to. The Hun used to call me 'That shitty Focker from Killamory' yep nothing has changed.

Anyway Pearl harbour was a major source of wealth due to the giant pearls that grew there which is why the Yanks had a base there. Its not like the Hawaiinese had a choice about it they were too busy getting fat on the spam we supplied them with.

I had some training on the P-40's but was still a little shaky. I had just flown a tough training mission and was in my bunk with a young friend I had met in a bar. The sound of plane engines woke me up, I didn't recognise them, by the time I got up the planes had gone.

They were enemy recon but I didn't know that at the time.
It was Sunday morning and way too early for my liking but I got up anyway as I had to see a man about dancing bear that would make me rich.

Just before 8am I saw planes that I had seen in Europe. I thought, "How can the same thing happen to the same guy twice?" either they had tracked me doon or they were after the pearls. I rushed to my Commanding officer as all hell broke loose, "I gotta fly Bill" I shouted at the panicked Yank, "Those Nazi cunts are destroying us" Bill nodded his head and said, "It was nice knowing you Knudsen" ok ok what he really said was " Do I look like I give a fuck? I didn't cum to Hawaii to fight its not our fucking war."

"Let me fly coach I'm ready."

I was already in my flight gear as I like the way it gripped my crotch and so did everyone else. Chuck my mechanic said "No way Knudsen this plane isn't ready to fly yet its rear fuel manifold tamiloid could explode on you". I smiled at Chuck my dependable grease monkey and said, "sounds like fun."

Lt.Capt. Rafe McCawley shouted over to me "Our P-40's can't out run them we have to out fly them" what the fuck did he know? "Stick to looking heroic lad and let me do the work" I said. Matt Damon is a far better actor anyway.

I took off and the sky was buzzing with Nazi Stuka dive bombers. The Battleships were taking a beating something bad. I shot doon about 30 planes and saw they were even using midget submarines against the Destroyers, there is nothing worse than sneaky midgets so I sprayed the water with bullets not realising some dirty German got me from behind as they like to do.

I was pissing out fuel and the manifold tamiloid was heating up just like Chuck said, I pulled a hard G which relaxed me greatly and shot doon the back stabber with my last bullets.

I knew I was about to explode and thats when I saw a German U-boat on the surface of the water.
I aimed my aeroplane at the sub and sung the Killamory Anthem, "Oh my lass thought it nice when I slipped it in twice on the banks of the killamory" The explosion was fierce and I was ripped to pieces and thrown 90 metres away.

I lay there bobbing away hearing the Germans scream in agony and thought to myself well this is it old fella. Half of me was turned inside out and the back of my head was gone oh and I had lost a shoe. A great white shark smelled my blood and was heading towards me.

I had given up then I saw the Angel of Mongs floating above me, " C'mon Old Knudsen we still have work for you to do, what are you going to give up like a Yank or whine like a Sassanach?"

If there are two things I hate is being compared to an American or an Englishman, no offence all you American and English cunts out there you can't help it.

I got angry and pulled out my survival knife which should have been around my ankle but due to my wounds was a lot more closer to my inside out hands. I dodged the sharks teeth and cut into it's flesh. I then climbed inside it and controlled its sinews and drove it to land.

C'mon ya pussy its just a large Guppy make it yer bitch.

I lay on the beach whittling out a needle from its bones and used sinew to sew myself up enough that I could walk 3 miles to get help.

The devastation was horrible with over 2000 dead. Years later when I watched Elvis in Blue Hawaii which was his first porno I had flashbacks and had to be sedated and put into a padded cell for my own safety but now I can talk about it.

I didn't want all the medals they pinned onto chest, don't call me a hero I'm just an average guy doing what anyone else would do.
