The War That Never Ends

I'd describe the war in Afghanistan like wiping yer arse but the toilet paper never wipes clean. I was going to compare it to a little boy with his finger in a dyke but my mind wandered to underage sex and angry man hating weemen wearing bomber jackets.

The truth is you can't beat the Tallyban. If you can't find them you can't beat them. How can westerners go to a foreign land and figure out the bad guys without being able to speak the language or understand the culture?

Your basic soldier has been trained to kill and take orders, they aren't expected to think for themselves until they get promoted or join Special Forces.  Until then your opinion is issued to you.

The US Marines have returned to Helmand province. The place where US and coalition forces fought for years to keep. It's sprawling and wild, you'd look at it and question as to whether it's worth the blood spilled there.
Musa Qala is a town that 23 British soldiers died while defending. In 2007, 2 thousand Talyban swarmed it and failed, not defeated just pushed back. Years of creeping attacks have the Tallyban back in Musa Qala as of 2015.

A recent car bomb in Kabul that killed 24 or the bomb in Mazar-i-Sharif that killed 135. The Tallyban will target anyone but if they can target government officials, police and soldiers then who is going to want to replace them? It's a good solid tactic.

Then you eventually have to scrape the bottom of the barrel and those in charge are usually less able or more corrupt than those who have gone before.

The Marines left Helmand in 2014. Camp Leatherneck was left to the Afghan army.

The US tactic right now seems to be one of constant troubleshooting and putting band aids over gaping wounds then running to the next casualty.

The odd high level kill or mother of all bombs doesn't really achieve much but to give politicians at home a warm fuzzy feeling that they had a win. Things on the ground don't change.

The 300 Marines go to the Afghan bases, they teach recruits how to solder, they advise on tactics only helping when they have to then they leave.

Corruption, low morale, under fed, under paid, ill equipped and with no air support. The Afghans don't stand a chance.

All the Tallyban have to do is attack an area that doesn't have constant helicopters resupplying the troops. Command will say, 'hey this area is safe lets go somewhere else and help' then the Tallyban can move somewhere else too.

Like musical wars. The Tallyban don't mind killing US troops but if it's so much easier to just avoid them and have them chasing their tails then that's what they would do. Guerrilla warfare isn't warfair.

The Great American War Machine

Old Knudsen tries not to watch war movies cos he doesn't want flashbacks to Hamburger Hill ... the movie, not the battle, it was shite!

I wanted some Netflix and chill so I typed 'watch free online' cos who the fuck pays for Netflix? but I was all out of chill so I watched the latest Brad Pitt movie War Machine with pirated Netflix and luke warm.

Fuck yer FBI warning and yes I would steal a car so obviously I'll steal a movie. The money I've spent to be disappointed by Hollywood over the years I've finally caught on.

The film starts with the great line, "Men are imperfect creatures, left to their own devices, all they really wanna do is play with their dicks and eat chicken."

The movie was loosely based around the firing of General Stanley McChrystal. If you recall he sort of resigned/fired because for some reason he did a Rolling Stone interview while in charge of the Afghanistan war and was pretty free with his words.

He had to apologize to the then President Obama and VP Biden for smack talking about them. I'm surprised that Trump hasn't offered him a job. If Obama fired him then he must be good.

General Pulver in the movie was loosely based on General Michael Flynn. A not too talented angry person that rode on McChrystal's or rather Pitt's character General Glen McMahon's coattails.

This movie was based on the book The operators by Michael Hastings who was the actual Rolling Stone reporter that covered McChrystal.

Ben Kingsley was born to play Hamid Karzai
Hamid Karzai the President of Afghanistan is shown as a figure of fun. This guy who is propped up by the West to lead Afghanistan had to give permission for a military raid but he knew that he didn't really have a say in it. He was hard to get a hold of so Brad Pitt's character McMahon told him to behave like a leader, he replied he was, he was being unavailable just like President Obama.

Meg Tilly came out of retirement to act as McMahon's wife. That woman has always had a direct line to Old Knudsen's boner and seeing her older didn't matter.

The one that got away

While the movie had some funny parts it also had a message. All that the US is doing is creating more enemies. McMahon said if you have 10 insurgents and you kill 2, how many do you have left? The answer is 20 cos those two killed had friends and family on the cusp of taking up arms and when you kill the 2 they had their minds made up for them.

The figure is that for every civilian killed by the west 40 new insurgents are created. The movie saw a young boy killed by a grenade that was targeting insurgents on the roof of his house. The boy's father was given a couple of thousand dollars and told sorry. McMahon could clearly see the hate in the eyes of the young brother of the dead boy, another enemy created.

You can't win the hearts and minds of the people when you are killing them. Afghanistan can partially be won but it can never be held. Alexander the Great, the British, the Soviets, history has been there and done that and failed.

Obama had no appetite for this war, now with General Mattis in charge and an easy to manipulate president in his pocket there are more troops being sent there but no one really cares about the place.

They grow heroin poppies because the US doesn't let them grow cotton as that would interfere with their own product being sold... you can't fight a war tied up and your certainly can't win it like that.

If you bring the troops home you then condemn the population to Taliban rule and insurgents will grow in strength with free reign to plan more US attacks. It's a fucked up situation.

General Petraeus or Bob as he was called in War Machine was McMahon's replacement. Just another war loving General with a chest full of medals, same old routine.

Petraeus resigned when a NATO helicopter killed 9 Afghan boys out getting firewood. Not a career killing event just meh ... er I mean very regrettable. He became the CIA director until an affair with the author of his biography and the mishandling of classified info made him resign from that.

Scandals come and go and the great American War Machine grinds on creating dead bodies, 65 million refugees and more enemies. America has been at war 93% of its time since its creation in 1776, it's the natural state of the cuntry.

Insurgents: The True Hollywood Story

Allah made me photogenic and gave me trigger discipline so I can kill the infidels.

The attacks in Paris got me thinking, the passport of one of the attackers found has the tinfoil hat people comparing it to the passport found during the 9/11 attack ... very convenient that it survived. Well the news sources didn't say who it came from, it could have been the attacker that the police shot and how much of a passport do you need to be able to tell that it's a passport? Then there are people blaming the refugees (Rob lowe) and blaming Israel for the attacks rather than the blokes pulling the trigger.

The US gun nuts have been using this attack to promote giving everyone guns because gun free zones (most of Europe because we don't need gun courage) are dangerous, unlike battlefields and areas of Pakistan where everyone has a gun. I fully expect some nations to use this to not take in any refugees. So what about wee Alyn Kurdi? That sympathy didn't last too long.

The nutjobs blaming Israel are onto the whole Mossad and the US created ISIS thing. Well I don't think they created them, the US certainly helped them along though. I give you the history that people no longer remember because they cannot see past 9/11. Most shit after 9/11 is dodgy and manipulated like fuck so you can't really use that as a source.

If you ignore the creation of Israel then I can happily blame Soviet Russia for the ills of today.  It was the Soviets that destabilized the Middle East in a big way long before Bush ever got near it, he was busy in 1979 losing money for his investors with his Arbusto Oil company.

During the cold war the Soviets didn't like how well the US was doing around the world, it was still clinging to its empire of communism in various countries. The communist government in Afghanistan was failing with rebels known as the Mujahideen fighting against it. The Mujahideen had some Afghani fighters but there were many from Saudi Arabia and Yemen too, they were trained and financed by Saudi, the US and our allies at the time Iran.
Sure there were US "advisers" in Afghanistan otherwise known as the CIA and some soldiers working for them to train the rebels but it wasn't until the Soviets, at the behest of the Afghan government invaded for there to be a foreign military presence doing the fighting.

After a long war which was won by MANPADS .... no that is not what Jeremy Corbyn puts in his underwear for his weeping vagina it stands for Man-portable air-defense systems. The Soviets were beaten by these US weapons. That is why they are so important in Syria today and why it's important to know what group has them.

Al Qaeda grew from the Mujahideen and took its name from the training camp were they were based. Afghanistan had a vacuum of power, much like what happened after Saddam and Gaddafi were killed. Warlords grew and factions were born all fighting against each other and then something even worse happened. In a Pakistan refugee camp (pay attention to this part about refugee camps) the Taliban were formed and took their extremist religious views to Afghanistan.

So it was the Soviets that created Al Qaeda and without Al Qaeda you wouldn't have ISIL then ISIS and now the IS Caliphate or ISholes.
Terrorist groups argue and splinter off and become new franchises of the groups that can have uneasy alliances if they have the shared enemy. Al Qaeda have been trying to open up new branches as if they were a Starbucks. You have the groups Boko Haram, the Pakistani Taliban, Al-Shabab, Al Nursa, all with the same theme and goals.
Like how Turkey were cool with the Syrian Kurds but not the Iraqi Kurds but now they hate both because they are working together so Turkey our ally is bombing an ally of ours .... perplexing huh.

We may have helped Al Qaeda defeat the Soviets but we support Israel and that cannot be forgiven. After the Afghanistan war Iran changed hands and went from an ally to evil religious fanatics and Saddam went to war with them. The Middle East was even more destabilized long before the Arab spring.

We totally fell for Al Qaeda's plans. Their grudge is us supporting Israel and not being Muslim, their messed up version of Islam, they also didn't like us helping/meddling in Kuwait in 1991. The wanted to provoke the west with an attack in order to get US boots on the ground so they would have someone to fight and an invasion would swell their ranks.
Our leaders and military advisers not comprehending what a shit storm it would be thought it would be an easy win like in 1991.
Our intelligence agencies were mostly full of white blokes who could speak Russian, they didn't have a clue about the Middle East.

The Soviets couldn't take Afghanistan and Alexander the great couldn't hold on to it but the US believed the movies they made.

Look at how the Bloody Sunday shootings in Northern Ireland swelled the ranks of the IRA, this isn't hindsight talking it's common sense of what happens when you invade another cuntry and shoot and torture its people. Those held in Gitmo still without being charged. We didn't ask for 9/11 but our behaviour since deserved a sound thrashing.

Then Al Qaeda planned for various groups to pop up around the world to strike out. I'm very surprised there have not been more than there have been.

The allies of the US would be attacked like the 2004 Madrid bombing that made Spain pull out of Iraq or the 2005 London bombing that made the British people say "fuck you towel heads" the Brits take a pride that they survived the German blitz and even the IRA bombings so wise up, we're used to this shit. Now France is getting it, I think it will strengthen their resolve considering how anti-Muslim they have become.

Al Qaeda and now the IS seem to have the same strategy. After the allies are attacked and withdraw from the fighting the US will drain its finances even more and the economy will collapse, their time frame is to have this done by 2020.
Laugh if you will but the Soviets were a super power until their 10 year war then their economy collapsed. Gee it's almost as if Al Qaeda (who came up with this plan) know their history. It's a sound plan if you have 9/11 sized attacks on the allies. 8 blokes with guns and grenades that blow themselves up when it gets too tough seems a little half arsed.

Al-Zarqawi who took over from Osama had a 7 point strategy plan. We are in the fifth phase 2013 - 2016 in which they announce an Islamic Caliphate. They did that.

The next phase is total confrontation between believers and non-believers. Expect to see more and more attacks against civilians, hate crimes as we civilised people in the west call them.

The last phase is victory in 2020. The world will have been beaten down by then. If you read my blog on a regular basis you'll see I predict WWIII for 2020. This is based on nations building their super carriers and upgrading weapon systems that will be ready for 2020, a beaten down world is also more likely to attack each other even with failing economies, see the other world wars that were fought during depressions.

Old Knudsen isn't trying to scare you even though he is taking night classes learning Arabic. The Al Qaeda and now IShole plan has been spot on since 2001 and has met its targets and goals.

Look how weak the coalition is, it flip flops with boots on the ground and has lost a lot of ground to the Russians and Iranians, the US will get kicked out of Iraq by a government who will take the supplies and weapons but have new friends who can actually beat the ISholes. Killing Jihadi John achieved nothing.

The US have expressed concern at how weak the UK is in military terms as it upgrades weapons, decommissions ships and cuts its military personnel. Turkey can't be trusted and as for Saudi .... they mostly rely on the US for protection and play both sides by financing terrorists.

The French? While everyone is pretending to like them because of the latest tragedy we turn on those cheese eating surrender monkeys in a heart beat. Remember when they wouldn't join our illegal war in Iraq so we made French fries Freedom fries and poured French wine into the gutter? Well I remember. The Brits have a longer history of French hating.

Even Old Knudsen has said, "it's a lovely cuntry, except for the people." I got lost in the Paris underground system so I didn't fall in love with it as everyone else seems to have.

So the Soviets created Al Qaeda who then created ISIL. The US funded, enabled and built up their hype in order to take away liberties and go where they wished to go. It isn't as easy as saying Mossad did this or that, they like the Saudis no doubt helped and enabled the group too.

Thank you Al Qaeda for being efficient and letting us know what is in store for us. If it was all US or Israeli created then I suspect it has gotten out of their control.

What I want to know is how many of these terrorist attacks on the west were allowed to happen in order for government to make unpopular decisions and do some hospitals get bombed by accident on purpose if they think that US/coalition hatred in the area is waning?

If only Obama hadn't gone after whistleblowers who had the public's best interest at heart so hard we may have gotten all those memos and deleted e-mails that detailed how insidious our own governments really are and who they'll sacrifice in order to collect data on its own people.

Hero Or Traitor?

What the fuck is going on with US Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl ? The US government has worked for the past 5 years to release him from the Tallyban when he went missing in Afghanistan. They gave up 5 high level Guantanamo Bay prisoners for him.

I doubt the 5 prisoners are of any use anymore and are now as American loving as Ted Nugent is. Lets hope no one finds the subcutaneous trackers. Oh and brainwashed is an ugly term, we prefer "attitude adjustment."

For some reason Old Knudsen doesn't like his father Bob Bergdahl, I just get a dislike for someone then I find out later why. It seems that while Bob was negotiating for his son's release from the Tallyban he tweeted "I am still working to free all Guantanamo prisoners, God will repay for the death of every Afghan child, amen!"

Was he playing along to get his son out? It isn't the best time to see all of this. The big hero homecoming may be soured as Bowe Bergdahl might be prosecuted for deserting his post.

Sgt. Evan Buetow who was on Bergdahl’s team isn't very impressed. He claims that one day Bergdahl just walked out and went looking for the Tallyban. “He's not a great person or great example of a solider, he deserted his men, put us in danger so he could find the Taliban. And several soldiers died looking for him in the weeks and months to follow.”

A former high-level intelligence official has said that the Pentagon knew where Bergdahl had been on a couple of occasions but did not want to lose any more men busting a traitor out, that decision went towards forming the prisoner exchange as the government just wanted to close this deal no matter how high the price.

The no man left behind thing is rock solid no matter what is tweeted but idiot marines caught trying to cross into Mexico with guns do not count since there is no war with Mexico and the government would go broke if it had to bail out every marine.

Its War You Hoor

So anyway hopefully the new guy in charge of Afghanistan Lt. Gen. Stanley McChrystal will sort out what the vast USSR couldn't. A silly American soldier Zach Boyd had his uniform off at the front while he slept.
I don't know for some the guy sleeps in his pink I love New York boxers and a don't you watch Star Trek red shirt from some ice-cream parlor.

Old Knudsen doesn't know what kind of jank training these guys are getting but the only thing you take off while out in the field, especially during war is yer boots to dry yer feet out. You sleep in yer combats and with yer rifle .............. no excuses.

His parents are saying what a character Zach is and its just like him and everyone else is laughing about it.

Old Knudsen does not think slack procedures and bad training are funny.

Old Knudsen knows funny as Old Knudsen is a clown fish. Maybe Zach is whats known in the military as a Groundsheet , that is the part of yer tent you lie on and the nickname for the regiment's cum bucket.

AchI miss the army.

What A Shite Cuntry

Why the fuck are we spending so much money and wasting so many lives in Afghanistan? Sure old Knudsen is all for Imperialism but do it right for fucks sake.

If Russia at its peak of fitness cannot keep Afghanistan then I doubt the pathetic NATO and half a job America can do it.

Afghanistan is now our ally. Afghan President Hamid Karzai the fuzzy hat wearing fuzzy who licks western arse on a regular basis wants the foreign troops to stay because it they didn't he'd be put up against the wall and shot. Its not about votes its about brute strength.

A new marriage law was passed, it says a husband can demand sex with his wife every four days unless she is ill or would be harmed by intercourse. It also says when she may leave the hoose alone.

If this is our ally then what does that say about us?

300 Afghan weemen decided to protest the law holding banners that said "We don't want Taliban law." They were surrounded by about 1,000 law loving men who pelted them with small stones and shouted "Death to the slaves of the Christians!"

So not wanted to be raped by yer husband makes you a Christian? I thought not thinking too much and being morally smug made you a Christian.

Having sex 91 times a year in a marriage is a little unrealistic and to be honest who would want to? well Mel Gibson would but not with his wife.

The law would only apply to the cuntries Shiites (pronounced shites) thats only about 30 million people.

The weemen aren't too bright, they don't want foreigners helping them and they don't want Taliban type rule again, typical weemen they can't wrap their lovely little heads around anything more than casseroles and trying to avoid having sex with their husbands.

Shiite backers of the law say that foreigners are meddling in private Afghan affairs, and the demonstrations brought some of the emotions surrounding the debate over the law to the surface.

Well its called blogging you shite and if someone is being a cunt then I'll call them a cunt. I'm all for the oppression of weemen and don't mind a wee bit of it myself but I really do think its time we either left such cuntries to their ways and say, "fuck you our cuntry is in a shite state we're off" or we can nuke them or as I have suggested for years replace all the stones with nerf stones.

Instead of being stoned to death you can be stoned to fun and its great for the whole family. Unlike the American version of being stoned it doesn't rob you of yer memory or ambition.

The Nixon Years

In my time I've been known as a trouble shooter, if I have any trouble I shoot it.
So after Richard Nixon had his disastrous TV debate with JFK in which he sweated like a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs and looked shifty they called me in to do an image make over.
Sort of like Queer eye for the up-tight guy, no I'm not saying I was a poof, queer meant unusual back then and I was unusual in fact I was gay and carefree it was the 60's man slutty stoned weemen and hippy bashing all done with love and peace and a flower in yer hair.

First we gave Nixon a spine operation which stopped his sweating, if he went out into the sun his skin burned like hell but it was a price I was willing to pay.
Some product in his hair and a nickname. Slicky Dicky sounded pervy, I liked it but then I found out about his erectile dysfunction so 'Tricky Dick' it had to be, we said it was because he was crafty but it was an in joke to make us feel superior.
The fact he was a Quaker and could never get his oats was funny as fuck to me and fuck is quite funny.

After getting kicked around by the press for mysterious campaign funding etc his popularity grew when John and Robert Kennedy were shot by crazed gunmen and nothing to do with me and a sniper rifle honest, forget what I said about trouble shooting.

He got elected to the Whitehoose in 68 due to my efforts and my campaign based on Nixon being born in a log cabin in California and wrestling a Communist bear who had cut doon his cherry tree when he was aged only 3, I was kept on as an advisor.

I had some great arms deals going on with the commies back then so I advised Nixon to back off Soviet Russia and China or I'd knee cap him, he was very obliging.

Nixon went to China and paved the way for the Wham visit a decade later, he devised an exit strategy out of Vietnam which involved replacing demoralised American troops with under gunned corrupt poorly trained Vietnamese troops, no wait that's Iraq isn't it?
So do they not teach history in schools in America? cos history seems to be repeating like a cucumber sandwich.

Ever come up with an idea in the wee hours of the morning after a few drinks and wake up the next day and say, "fuck sake what did I do?" well that was Watergate.
The bugging of the Democrat headquarters in the Watergate hotel complex.

Nixon was well into it, he once told me his old Lyndon Johnson stood up and hailed to the chief as the rush of blood from all the excitement rushed to his head, something that hadn't happened in years.

I was getting bored in my job, controlling economies, armies and ordering people killed just wasn't the same as pointing a rifle on a grassy knoll and cracking open the largest head ever, people started getting caught for breaking in and planting the bugs so it was time to go.

People only knew me as Rimjob (Deep Throat was already taken) so I tapped the secret slush fund in Mexico and disappeared.
I saw Nixon on the telly shouting out that he wasn't a crook, he was supposed to shout out he wasn't a cook, it was a joke for fucks sake, fucking yanks never get my jokes.

Nixon resigned in 1974 and was pardoned by Gerald Ford as part of the whole becoming a president deal which stopped Ford from being re-elected leading to the blah years of Carter and hostages held by Iranian students.

I started my 6 year drink and drugs binge in 1977 the same year as Carter was elected . I was on a doonward spiral because of the death of Elvis, fuck man he was the king.

I went to Afghanistan and fought against the Russians with the Taliban or I fought against the Taliban it was all a bit of a haze which one of those bad guys were being funded and trained by the US ?
Ach I do remember that the Taliban had all the chewing gum, chocolate and nylons though, they used to give them to camels for sexual favours.
Ah well its like dealing with the Devil and no good came of it except in 1987 I was sent a Russian medal of valour and it seems I have a statue up in Red square, for fucks sake, what or who did I do?

Not had enough Old Knudsen today? Then Read This
