I doubt the 5 prisoners are of any use anymore and are now as American loving as Ted Nugent is. Lets hope no one finds the subcutaneous trackers. Oh and brainwashed is an ugly term, we prefer "attitude adjustment."
For some reason Old Knudsen doesn't like his father Bob Bergdahl, I just get a dislike for someone then I find out later why. It seems that while Bob was negotiating for his son's release from the Tallyban he tweeted "I am still working to free all Guantanamo prisoners, God will repay for the death of every Afghan child, amen!"
Was he playing along to get his son out? It isn't the best time to see all of this. The big hero homecoming may be soured as Bowe Bergdahl might be prosecuted for deserting his post.
Sgt. Evan Buetow who was on Bergdahl’s team isn't very impressed. He claims that one day Bergdahl just walked out and went looking for the Tallyban. “He's not a great person or great example of a solider, he deserted his men, put us in danger so he could find the Taliban. And several soldiers died looking for him in the weeks and months to follow.”
A former high-level intelligence official has said that the Pentagon knew where Bergdahl had been on a couple of occasions but did not want to lose any more men busting a traitor out, that decision went towards forming the prisoner exchange as the government just wanted to close this deal no matter how high the price.
The no man left behind thing is rock solid no matter what is tweeted but idiot marines caught trying to cross into Mexico with guns do not count since there is no war with Mexico and the government would go broke if it had to bail out every marine.
