ISIS Aren't Done Yet

The Monday morning quarter backs are starting to question the wars of terror after like 15 years of it. 'What we are doing isn't working' ... well duh!   

So it's Monday morning (unless it isn't) so Old Knudsen who is usually known as a wide receiver will be the star quarter back and tell you what the score is. Not the official line or the social media scuttlebutt. With the use of experience, black mirrors, bowls of water and prescription medication I will tell you the * truth* cos I respect you an shit.  

 Yeah but they are going to be big bombs right? 

Mosul which is possibly in Iraq ... you know, that place we freed the shit out of. It's the last ISIS stronghold and is of great tactical importance and IS are losing it. 

You have people cheering at the defeat of the Caliphate, those people still think in terms of large armies facing each other and decisive victories. Americans in general just don't get terrorism either. 

During the Cold War the NSA/CIA could find the enemy anywhere in the world no problem as troop and tank battalions are hard to hide but they couldn't kill them for numerous reasons like starting WWIII. Now the NSA/CIA can't find the enemy but when they can they are quite easy to kill.

Terrorists use civilian populations as cover and don't have a big carbon foot print. They prefer their pick up trucks to be white as that gets covered in dirt and easier to camouflage. They have put thought into this and understand the terrain. 

  

If you look at the news covfefe coverage of Mosul you'll see Iraqi forces in tanks, on the streets and giving vodka to small children ... I just assume it's vodka, kids love that stuff. 

It's almost as if the media outlets which have to have their covefe coverage and pictures approved are trying to put out a message. Trying to write the narrative. 

 M-16's are still being found on IS fighters that they got from the fleeing Iraqi military.

Coalition forces and the US are giving air and ground support. They have people there, you can't leave something so important to the Iraqis but it's Iraqi troops always shown. 
     

The Iraqis are taking control of their cuntry, they are stepping up and fighting. No need to join ISIS to fight the invaders, maybe the US can actually leave ... that's the narrative. 

But they'll never fully leave. The US still have bases in Japan and Germany after WWII, they never leave.

We know the western invaders are still there, they just put on Iraqi uniforms now. Most uniforms used are US in nature anyways. 

ISIS and Al-Qaeda before them are like a cult. There is no seeking peace with them but if you fight them in their territories on their turf you just create more reasons for others to join the cult.

Invading foreign nations tend to swell the ranks of guerrilla forces 10 fold. Those teetering on the edge will join up or give the terrorists local support. Places to hide, store weapons or to be their eyes and ears. 

At the start ISIS was well funded and able to win hearts and minds by giving the locals food, water and protection. Things the foreign nations couldn't give. Hamas does this, the IRA through Sinn Féin did this it's a proven guerilla tactic to earn support for killing. 

Power corrupts and as ISIS got more fighters to feed and more cities to use so their tactics became even more brutal as they had more to control and soon the locals were often seen as the enemy. They also played the long game by using children to create the next generation of fighters that would keep their ideology alive for the future. 

ISIS knowing they are losing do what the Nazis were ordered to do at the concentration camps, they slaughter just before they retreat. Whatever child soldiers they can't use and whatever civilians that might flee the city get slaughtered. 

They try to write their last ditch narrative by saying that hundreds were killed by coalition bombs. There are about 10,000 civilians trapped in Mosul and the UN have found up to 160 civilians killed in one day.  

The Great Mosque of al-Nuri with its leaning cock like minaret was destroyed. This 800 year-old building was where ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi did some of his best DJ work from. ISIS say the coalition destroyed it and they say ISIS did it.

ISIS are the same cunts that destroy 5 thousand year old carvings so chances are they did it, even if they didn't their very existence in the region destroyed it.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is believed to have been killed. This is the cockroach that survived Gitmo to go on to lead a cult of cunts that shook the world. Until I see a body I think this cunt got out and is living in Qatar or something, he's the bad guy that will keep coming back for sequels. The almost dead guy on the ground that grabs you by the leg in the last 5 minutes of a movie.

What happens when ISIS gets destroyed? They will never be destroyed. Al-Qaeda wasn't destroyed, just made less relevant and unable to carry out international attacks but it's still around. All it would take to grow again would be the US to leave Afghanistan. 

It's all cause and effect. The Mujahideen had the purpose of fighting off the Soviet invaders, the CIA helped them. Al-Qaeda grew out of the Mujahideen. They saw first hand with the CIA the meddling from the West and the propping up and support of Israel. 

They don't hate the freedoms of the West they have a perceived grievance that the west wants to destroy Islam. That's what competing religions do. The Moors ruled Spain for 800 years. Saladin fought the Crusaders as they both vied for Jerusalem, they've always been at it. 

Wars for oil often turn into holy wars.

So Al-Qaeda, ISIS, al-Shabab and whatever are defenders of Islam. It's their own sick and twisted version of it though as like Westboro Baptist Church, the Pentecostals and Mormons have their twisted form of Christianity. 

The Nazis never thought they were the bad guys. Did Obama worry about killing children with drones? .... probably not cos they weren't American and so didn't count. ISIS doesn't think that anyone non-ISIS matters. 

Nature abhors a vacuum. The breaking of promises like the betrayal of the Iraqi people in the first Gulf War helps groups with finding a reason to fill the vacuum. The mind set and the brainwashing has been done over the past 15 years will keep the ISIS ideology continuing. 

Like the IRA there will be some yahoos not ready for peace and will call themselves the Continuity ISIS or the Real ISIS. 

When there aren't any more ragheads in white pick up trucks we'll go back to nations being at each other's throats until the new ISIS get back on their feet again.   

While we meddle in the affairs of other nations, keep backing allies that compromise our own morality for a few billion worth of weapons sales there will always be someone rising up to attack us and the innocent people attacked will always wonder why.   

Wag The Dog Perception Changing

 

The strike against Syria was called 'Trump's wag the dog moment' which comes from an awesome movie made in 1997. The whole wag the dog thing comes from an expression  Why does the dog wag its tail? Because a dog is smarter than its tail...  If the tail were smarter, it would wag the dog.

It's all about the tail wagging the dog in other words keeping you distracted from the truth.

Not about any president in particular because it's about the spin and bullshit rather than a political attack or satire. It mirrored real life events in the past as well as the future. The movie president did something inappropriate with a Firefly girl (the fictional equivalent of a Girl Scout) and a spin doctor was brought in to make it better as there was an election just days away. Weeks after the movie release the Clinton and Lewinsky sex scandal came out.  

De Niro is brought in and immediately stalls for time because an extended trip in China buys him another couple of days and it's all about filling days and getting past the election. 

He tells the room of advisers that the president's delay certainly has nothing to do with the B-3 Bomber so definitely don't be leaking that.  

They are a bit slow to catch on. De Niro just made up a fictional bomber and a possible distraction story on the spot.

North Korea might have nukes ... I didn't know there was a law against it.  They cannot either now or in the near future strike at the US. Their subs are old from the 60's and have a range of 300 miles, a missile assuming they were able to launch one could have up to 600 miles at the very most.

The worry is really for South Korea and Japan, our wealthy allies. To make a strike more palpable to the world and the American people they have to talk in terms of Americans under threat so then they talk about NK striking the US or against the numerous US bases ... lets hope they don't target the black site in Thailand known as Detention Site Green cos how can the CIA ignore human rights if the black sites are blown up ... no they can't use one of the 21 prison ships they use to get around pesky laws. 

The reason why Trump flip flopped with NATO is Article 5. If an ally gets attacked we back them up. Trump is getting ready to strike NK and the Chinese manipulated him to that point.

De Niro just hopes that the news of the B-3 Bomber being leaked doesn't mess up its testing because it has to be ready for the crisis. 

 You have to make other things back the story up so they send a General to talk with Boeing and make sure that news gets out. 

Tidbits to the reporters to make them work for you. Like the ratings hungry Rachel Maddow who teased that she had Trump's tax returns but had nothing news worthy.

Leaks have long been used to get a fake story out. Recently a memo from General Mattis about plans to board Iranian boats in international waters was leaked. Mattis is hawkish about Iran, this is well known but getting that out there suggests that the US isn't all just talk.

Make sure you have your own Sean Spicer to deny things in order to make people even more suspicious.


Trump complains about leaks and suddenly a couple of pages of his tax returns with no damning news on them and stamped with 'clients copy' comes out ... that a news cycle taken up about a nothing news story.  So yeah, he leaks his own stuff. 

You think he tweets to keep the public informed? The whole wire tapping thing was a massive pile of bullshit but it came from the president so of course it had to be investigated even though it wasn't true.  

While on a plane to enlist the help of a Movie producer (Dustin Hoffman) De Niro talks about the concept of distraction and says it's nothing new.  

No time to shout BEIRUT! like Conservatives have been shouting BENGHAZI! ... and that was only with 4 dead. Reagan had 10 embassies attacked, 318 deaths including one ambassador but who remembers that? 
Bush had 13 attacks, 66 dead. Obama had 2 attacks with just the 4 at Benghazi dead. Not to belittle the tragic deaths for 4 men but shame on those shouting Benghazi and demanding justice while ignoring the 384 deaths. 

De Niro points out that while no one remembers the wars but they do remember the slogans.   "We remember the slogans, we can't even remember the fucking wars. You know why? That's show business. He suggests a war. Well not a real one, just the appearance of one. He randomly says "Albania" when asked What have they done to us? he replies "What have they done FOR us? What do you know about them?" ... nothing ..."See? They keep to themselves. Shifty. Untrustable."

The producer makes a set with green screen to show Albania and how we must save the people such as this young Albania gurl running away from the rape squads with her kitten. Tracey in the video was told she could never put this on her resume.

A little like Trump fighting for gassed children. Ivanka suggested he did it, not because it was right but because it would help them to look better.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio held up a picture of a dead Syrian child to shame Chris Christie who rejected allowing Syrian refugees (especially orphans under the age of 5) into New Jersey. 

Without acknowledging the irony, ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley held up pictures of dead gassed children in Syria to justify the US bombing an unimportant landing strip.

The US has already compassionately put a hold on the Syrian refugee program. That makes this dog and pony show even more distasteful.

Like a girl and her kitty hit them in the feels huh ... while the un-trendy and not of use deaths get ignored. 

Then you have to have a Live Aid type song too.

Oh wait, this is an actual song. One of the many that came out after 9/11.  My favorite being Iraq and Roll ... You think the 1997 movie was being corny and dumb until you realise it's very close to reality. 

Patriots, especially those that have never served but do the most shouting for war tend to bug the fuck out of Old Knudsen.  The people that make the decision to go to war should A. have been to war and B. have a child that is serving in the military ... not draft dodging loud mouths whose life experience has been in a pampered elitist bubble.   

In the movie a rival presidential candidate with the backing of the CIA took the wind from De Niro's sails and declared the war over. Don't you hate it when the Intel community get political? ... yeah I'm looking at you FBI. 

They still had days to the election and didn't want the sex scandal in the news so they made up a US soldier that had been left behind in Albania. The fictional Albanian terrorists released a photo and in it had the secret morse code message 'courage mom'  ... a soldier that loves his mom, I think I'm tearing up.

Like the crew of the USS Pueblo captured by the North Koreans in 1968. Displayed for propaganda the crew had one person in each photo designated to show the middle finger. The North Koreans questioned it and believed it when the sailors said it was a Hawaiian good luck sign. The North Koreans sure didn't get any brighter over the years. 

In the movie the soldier picked to be the captured hero was called Sgt Schumann ... old shoe. So De Niro and Hoffman throw shoes over trees and cables and soon it catches on. The public buy into it and run with it. 

They even invented the unit that Schumann had served in, the 3-0-3.  

These days people sell ribbons and t-shirts or just change their social media profile pic if they can't be arsed but want to show their friends they care because it's what the sheep do. 

To really tug at their heart strings they had a song.

It turned out that the special program they got Schumann from was really prison, he had raped a nun. Pretty fucked in the head Hoffman tried to explain it was because of Albania obviously.

They couldn't really go public with him but after a series of unfortunate events Schumann was killed by a hick with a shotgun.  

 

Bringing Schumann home was described as a tease. It would happen just after the election. Like a voting pact. Elect me and you'll get Sgt Schumann the next day. They got him back but as a dead war hero.
Nothing makes civvies more proud than dead soldiers ... they love em. Thank you for your service and hey lets use homeless vets as a pawn to avoid bringing in refugees. Civvies are big with the military talk.

The movie had some 303 soldiers and a flag draped casket. A parody of the Green Beret song was played.

Old Knudsen understand spin and how difficult it has become in separating fact from fiction. Wag the Dog is a mind altering must see film that is funny because it's true. The public has been and is being manipulated. Like how I was told that Syria was a pile of rubble but someone who has just seen those bomb pictures when in reality there is plenty of Syria that still needs to be bombed. 

People used to think that we in Belfast during the Troubles were dodging bombs and IRA snipers everyday ... it wasn't everyday. 

Perception is all which is why Trump is failing with the optics. Those golfing pics and gold covered walls of Mar a Lago will be his down fall. Like how Old Knudsen knows that after you've read this post the biggest take away from it will be how the fuck can he suck his own dick and does he swallow? ... does it make him ghey?    

 

  
 

Bad Guys Are Us

Old Knudsen has a lot to say and often he just forgets things until someone else says it then he gets to think about it more all over again.
I watched this clip online last week that had a CIA chick talking about terrorism. She said that if she has learned one thing it's that everyone believes they are the good guys.

It's a matter of perspective. One man's hero is another man's freedom fighter. Che Guevara was a cold blooded executioner but it doesn't stop students from wearing the t-shirts. Nelson Mandela was in prison for plotting to blow people up. Remember those reports of burning tyres around people's necks? That was the ANC who had Gaddafi as one of its big donors. 
Mandela never renounced violence and said it was some times the only way but if you look him up online you'll read about how he bravely stood up to the cruel government, not about killing women and children.   

The British army in Northern Ireland were the good guys ..... well not really but neither were the IRA. When I patrolled the streets with my Stars Wars gun (as seen in the photo) I was fighting against terrorists that blew up innocent people. What separated us soldiers from the terrorists is that we don't wake up and think about blowing up a busy unsuspecting street or pub yet many see us as the oppressor and we were to a point.

Many of the British army's actions weren't just, we often became as bad as the terrorists we fought. Being the government we were the good guys. Like the CIA chick says, everyone believes they are the good guys, even the Nazis thought that God was on their side.

She said if you look at movies like the Hunger games, Independence day and Star Wars you'll see a small group of plucky rebels fighting against a superior force doing whatever it takes to win. Some Al-Qaeda guy said that they are the rebels, the heroes, they are Han and Luke. 

It's true, look at Red Dawn, 300 and the Terminator movies to name just a few more. TV shows like Falling Skies, V and Firefly. They sometimes talk about how righteous they are and how God is with them as they fight for freedom against evil facing overwhelming odds. 

Heroes don't set the fire then rush in to the building to save people.

To the Iraqis that were invaded by the US after 9/11 for no reason at all the US is the bad guy, the invading force. 
It has gotten to the point that the US has fucked up their cuntry so much now that they fear the US will leave them to it like they did in 1991 which resulted in executions so now they are enlisting the help of the Iranians. The ancient enemy of the Americans .... who are of course allies with the Russians. 

Imagine not trusting the Americans so much that their former enemy in war the Iranians sound good. If only the Native Americans knew the Iranians formerly known as Persians.       

To Americans the US didn't invade anyone, they are fighting the enemy there so they don't have to fight them on the US. 
Yeah that is a load of bullshit. Iraq and Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 and didn't have weapons of mass destruction but we went in anyways because we're good and just. That right there made 10 times the amount of enemies we had. Invading Iraq and Afghanistan made generations of enemies for us to fight. 

The drone strikes makes enemies where there weren't any before too. If you kill a child's family in collateral damage because a suspect (who had not committed any acts of terrorism) stopped by to see his cousin that owed him a couple of goats then that child will grow up hating whoever sent that drone over. 
  

What we are told doesn't match up to reality.

In reality you aren't really innocent until found guilty. If Edward Snowden returned to the US he'd spend the rest of his life in prison, not for treason but because he showed the American people the government was illegally spying upon them and he broke his employment contract. Do the majority of Americans support him? no, because they somehow think the government are still the good guys because hey he's in Russia now and it's 'we the people.'    

The government represents us so they have to be the good guys huh, we couldn't be the bad guys, that's them not us.

Invading Iraq and Afghanistan to attack terrorists was plain stupid, they aren't a standing army. Terrorists thrive by blending in with the people. They use innocents as shields and look just like the average citizen. The US under Bush said whatever government shielded terrorists would be attacked, it didn't matter what the government said in response, if they didn't have nukes they were a weak enough target for the US to invade.

I didn't see them invading Pakistan did you? That's where Osama was found living and that is where Al-Qaeda have free reign .... but Pakistan has nukes. Makes you think there might be other motives and that the US is quite the bully. 
The nerve of Americans and even Prince Charles comparing Putin to Hitler because of Ukraine. He didn't do anything the US and its allies hadn't done.

 Real men don't pick flowers they pick body bags.

It takes more courage to talk peace than to launch drones and tactical units. Peace with terrorists only comes with dialogue because you can't kill ideologies. Peace with the IRA and the ANC came with dialogue, sure some people you can't talk peace with but there are always ones that will as long as you and they are open to compromise and to listen. 

While there are foreign boots on the ground there will never be peace, there will be new enemies springing up to replace those worn down. Just don't kid yourself that you are the righteous good guy, that disingenuous attitude will never achieve peace anywhere.      

 

The Pope Is Just Like Jesus

The Pope didn't just pop up from out of nowhere and starting being humble, just like any big company the PR machine has it's reasons. I recently saw a meme on Facebook that compared Pope Francis to Jesus as the Pope loves everyone and is so understanding .... what? when did that happen?

When the Pope worked in Argentina during Argentina's brutal military dictatorship he was strangely quiet, in fact all the Catholic church was which led to a public apology in 2000. During  the time of El Silencio Francis was Provincial Superior, 30,000 people disappeared during the military dictatorship.

In 2010 he led the war of God against the government to try to prevent same sex marriage which he said was the destruction of the family unit and God's plan.

Francis while archbishop of Buenos Aires was also quiet about sexual abuse. No documents, no names of accused priests, no tallies of accused priests, no policy for handling abuse, not even an apology to victims, and there were plenty of victims.

Does this sound like a nice man? Does this sound like Jesus?

This is how people want to see the Pope, smiling and friendly looking. Sure John Paul II covered up world wide pedophilia and shamed the victims into silence but look at that smile ... holy as fuck.

When the reputation of the Catholic church became so tarnished that even the strict Catholics in Ireland said, 'hold on this isn't cool' the Vatican brought in a patsy.

Pope Benedict was made Pope for all those years of service but also because the church was going through some bad shit and needed a temporary fix. Evil looking ex-Nazi Pope, not overly popular during a time of unpopularity for the Vatican but that was ok .....  all part of the plan.

When things settled they brought in the real Pope, after Benedict the nun's gunties gushed with holy arousal. He smiles, he pretends to be humble and that is all most people need in order to believe, fuck facts and anything he did or didn't do in the past.

Archbishop Francis went from, "The identity and survival of the family is at risk: father, mother and children. At risk are so many children who will be discriminated against by taking away from them the process of growing up that God gave to us with a father and a mother."  

To becoming Pope and saying, "Who am I to judge Gay people."  

Back to what his real stance is,  "Children have the right to grow up in a family with a father and mother capable of creating a suitable environment for the child's development and emotional maturity. Today marriage and the family are in crisis."
 

  So fuck? No one is going to believe you.

This week he isn't going on about how maybe gheys have special gifts to give to society and so maybe should be tolerated a little, now it's back to "Complementarity between man and woman in marriage” men and women have different but complementary roles that they say are essential to building a strong family.

Fags (what he calls gheys in private) just aren't moral enough and aren't even real people so how can they raise children? .... Single mothers should also feel the shame, sure yer hubby may beat you now and again and shagged all round him but yer children need him to grow strong. 

Sure yer mother was a crack hoor but it could be worse, at least she was straight. 

In a church where murder and sex abuse can be forgiven but divorce can get you made into an outcast, I wonder how anyone could be stupid enough to believe in all this shit. 

If this is what God really thinks:  A priest's daughter who loses her honor by committing fornication and thereby dishonors her father also, shall be burned to death. Leviticus 21:9

Then God is a total dick.

Is Pope Francis like Jesus? Well Jesus supported what the Prophets got up to in the Old Testament and all the cruel laws, he himself said that entire cities will be violently destroyed and the inhabitants "thrust down to hell" for not "receiving" his disciples and that most people would burn in Hell.

Aye, they are all dicks. 

I suppose he is like him then. According to Ephesians we are all predestined by God so does it really matter what we say or do? ..... as long as the Pope looks the part then the masses will be happy and overlook what he is actually saying.
