The War In Iraq Was Bad ... Thanks for Validating That

 

Sir John Chilcot the chairman of the UK's Iraq War inquiry has, after 7 years concluded that Tony Blair had sent ill-prepared troops into battle and had wholly inadequate plans for the aftermath.

Chilcot is a career civil servant who has loads of honours from the Queen for his work on policing and advising the likes of MI-5 and MI-6. I don't remember him saying anything in 2003 though. If you want to see if yer MP voted for or against the Iraq war then look at this the likes of Theresa May and Boris Johnson voted for it yet cunts like Jeremy Hunt, Michael Gove and Andrea Leadsom voted against.

Chilcot added that there was no imminent threat from Saddam Hussein, and the intelligence case was not justified.
It's not like North Korea scaring the crap out of the Japanese every other week with their dong missiles, they actually worry about attacks and lil Kim getting it right someday. 

Holy fuck it took him 7 years to figure this shit out. At the time I was scratching my head trying to werk out why Iraq was being invaded or even mentioned since most of the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi and you don't attack countries when dealing with terrorists that is fucken stupid.

The plan was always to destabilize the Middle East to weaken nations like Iran and Syria who have strong links to Russia who then has links to China .... all the ancient enemies. We ignored American revolutionary war tactics of sniping and killing the officers first. We'd be standing there in our red coats about to fire while those cunts would be hiding up trees. Then we had neck braces so we'd not be able to turn our heads and so wouldn't see our mates dropping either side of us so we'd just keep walking forwards towards the guns.
Then there was the whole bolt action rifle against German machine guns in WWI not to mention the same at Dunkirk 2 decades on and even in Northern Ireland there was equipment shortages and we had to use 10 plus year-old gear.
When the SA80 rifle came out in the 80's it was a plastic piece of shit with a poofy small caliber but they still issued it without getting all the kinks out ..... troops are expendable, always have been.

Any surprise that British special forces use American issue weapons or AK-47's when they can? Our back packs were heavy canvas things difficult to put on as they detached from the webbing while "proper" armed forces had rucksacks for fucks sake.

Civilian security contractors were all the rage in Iraq, it was big business for the likes of Blackwater. Always an option to leave the forces and join them as well paid guns for hire. 

What disgusts Old Knudsen the most about the Bush and Blair double act was our "special" relationship. I didn't realise that it included rimjobs. Blair made us American lapdogs. Yankee Poodle as one tabloid said. 

He sent memos to Bush saying things like : We are better to act now and explain and justify our actions than let the day be put off until some further, perhaps even worse catastrophe occurs.

 He wanted a good excuse because he knew he didn't have full support. 

I have no doubt that we need to deal with Saddam. But if we hit Iraq now, we would lose the Arab world, Russia, probably half the EU and my fear is the impact of all of that on Pakistan. However, I am sure we can devise a strategy for Saddam deliverable at a later date.

Both Blair and Bush had been talking about taking out Saddam one month after the 9/11 attacks in 2001. Remember that Blair is the guy that gave whole families to Gaddafi who were opposition in exile as a sweetener for oil deals. Parents and children for Gaddafi to torture and rape so he'd let BP oil drill off Libya.  Gaddafi was pariah because of his support for terrorists until his oil was wanted, then he was a friend again.  

If toppling Saddam is a prime objective, it is far easier to do it with Syria or Iran in favour or acquiescing rather than hitting all three at once, I favour giving these two a chance at a different relationship.

Like I said Iran and Syria were the prize targets, you just have to go an indirect route to get them. Even Obama had a serious hard on for Syria cos it's all about the long game against Russia.   

In particular we shall have given regime change a good name which will help us in our argument over Iraq. 

Branding is vitally important. We got many buzzwords from the wars of terror including insurgent, extremist and the various brands of ISIL and ISIS, then there was the new group the US tried to invent called Khorasan but everyone saw through that half arsed shit.
Al-Qaeda are old news, ISIS are becoming old news so what deadly group will be next? Maybe Al-Cobra.

Funny how it took the Russians to get involved in Syria in order for ISIS to get a pounding .... almost as if Obama was aiming at Assad installations rather than ISIS camps. Go on, please tell me what a great preez Obama is again.

Blair often told Bush, I will be with you, whatever that's just sickening. He wanted to set up various events to gain trust for the war. Saddam use of WMD against US and/or his own people .... Saddam attack on Israel .... Saddam destruction of oil wells and Keeping apart rival groups and tribes.

In hindsight we know that all this happened except an attack on Israel.

30% of US military women serving were raped, 14% were gang raped. Military women were 15 times more likely to be raped by their fellows than die in the war.

Eric Prince the head of Blackwater has had his eye on Libya for some time, they just have to unfreeze the millions held in European banks. If they get enough Refugee fear going on they might just do that.

It was a stupid war that showed there was little US understanding on what terrorism is. They still don't have a clue.
Blair had enough experience, he should have told Bush that if you invade and attack that will make 10 times the enemies you have today. The Iraq invasion swelled Al-Qaeda ranks just as surely as Bloody Sunday boosted recruitment for the IRA  ... they now had someone to fight, it's like feeding the trolls.

Blair is a vain egotistically creature that fawned over Bush the tall faux Texan that reminded him of John Wayne or some such crap. Maybe they got trade deals out of it.

It wasn't worth it and the fuckers have to pay for their crimes and lies as surely as the Leave the EU campaign should. Are there not laws against destroying economies with down right lies? Dr David Kelly Was Suicided

When "The Government" wants to do something big they don't tell the public the truth, they tell their version of what they want the public to know. If the public knew about all the pay offs, back room deals and murders they might eventually get angry enough to act. Drones get sent out all the time to kill foreign brown and black people but we don't care because we are disassociated with that reality, the Walking Dead spin off has started and I have to paint the kitchen and binge drink at the weekend so fuck em.     

 

What issues get you annoyed: The disappearing middle class, immigrants everywhere, ISIS are going to get us, they want our guns or in the UK stoopid Americans have too many guns, police killing black people, ghey marriage, elections? 

 

Being trapped in Middle East wars has become less important because we've been told the troops have left those places ... not all of them, the wars of terror have become the holding action of terror. 

 

Education, healthcare and a lack of well paying jobs are always a secondary worry that gets little exposure. 

 

Even celebs doing their shopping gets more coverage than our poorly funded healthcare system or the fact that police just won't bother attending most crimes ... unless it's traffic crimes as they are money makers. 

 

Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, we need to take away yer liberties in order to protect you, we have to fight them there so they don't come here.

Don't say you are fighting ISIS but ignore intel about hostages so they can be killed to justify more war. Don't say you are fighting ISIS when in reality you are bombing Assad's oil refineries because he is the real target.

What do the public do? They take tests to find out if some Internet site can guess their age by their musical tastes or vocabulary .... or maybe what kind of tree you are. 

 

   

In 2003 weapons expert Dr David Kelly had told the BBC that the US and UK's claim about weapons of mass destruction had been "sexed up" for the public. 

 

After being named as the source of a BBC report he was made to give evidence and to testify on what he said. Two days after the hearings he was found dead a few miles from his Oxfordshire home of apparent suicide.

 

 

This isn't Enemy of the state, it's fucking Oxfordshire. A top expert who goes against two world powers and causes them big embarrassment does not just end up dead in a copse a few miles from his home.  

 

His wife Janice told the inquiry into his death that her husband had been dismayed by the media frenzy however he had expressed a wish to get back to the real work in Iraq when it had all died down.     

The inquest opened into Dr Kelly's death was never completed. Lord Hutton who headed the inquiry at the behest of Tony Blair said it was most likely suicide due to having destroyed his own reputation by breaking trust, and a severe loss of self-esteem, he was 59, by that time yer pretty well comfortable in yer own skin and fuck the rest. Hutton requested that the post-mortem examination and toxicology tests be classified for 70 years to protect the privacy of the Kelly family.

Isn't that odd? In order to end all the speculation the reports were published and backed up what Lord Hutton had said, wasn't that handy? 

A groups of Doctors have said that Lord Hutton only spent half a day on the inquest and "No coroner in the land would have reached a suicide verdict on the evidence which Lord Hutton heard."

The official story is that Dr Kelly took an over dose of pain killers then cut his left wrist and bled to death. 

The problem that other professionals have about the death are the lack of Dr Kelly's fingerprints on the blunt garden knife he used. The non-toxic dose of co-proxamol found in his blood and stomach, why he wasn't spotted by the police helicopter with its thermal imaging cameras when he should have still been alive then and whether he actually did intend to kill himself. 

 

They say his wounds were non-life threatening and that he hadn't lost enough blood. The request for further investigation has been denied. Campaign leader Dr Stephen Frost said, "The continuing cover-up of the truth of what happened is a national disgrace and should be of concern to all British citizens."

 

The Labour government dismissed Kelly as a Walter Mitty character, this man who achieved respect for his work during the Gulf war and had been nominated for a Nobel peace prize was a Walter Mitty character? I don't think so. 

He didn't crave the limelight and guess what? There were no WMD so he was the one telling the truth, not Blair and not Bush. 

 

A doctor who disliked taking pills would not take painkillers then use a blunt garden knife to slit his wrist with, you'd use a razor at least, if he was worried about the pain he'd take something stronger and make sure he'd cut both wrists. It sounds very dodgy. 

When people are suicidal they actually put a lot of thought into it which therapists call a plan. I think he was suicided and the cut of the wrist was probably to hide the needle mark.     

 

Even with the lack of WMD's Bush and Blair are still free to charge for after dinner speeches, paint, write books and to laugh at the 1.3 million people killed because they lied.

Some of the complications of measles can be Pneumonia, hepatitis, meningitis, encephalitis, blindness and heart problems. Roald Dahl's daughter Olivia was 7 years-old when she died of measles encephalitis in 1962. That's inflammation of the brain, nothing the doctors could have done then and still couldn't today.

A new book by political writer Anthony Seldon claimed that Tony Blair felt like an "abused and bullied wife" as speculation grew over his resignation.

Not only did tempers flare between Blair and Brown but one of Gordon Brown's allies Ed Balls was increasingly rude to Blair and *exacerbated* feelings in both camps by blaming Brown for not having the "balls" to lead a revolt against Blair.

Mr Balls has denied all of this as nonsense, and said that Blair was just a little bitch, "Ex Prime Ministers are like gardens" he said "They need a good dig every now and again."

Tony Blair was in therapy at a safe location and was unavailable for comment and Gordon Brown (texture like sun) didn't want to deal with it .

Tony Blair has announced he is to resign 27th June, fresh from his high at bringing the DUP and Sinn Fein as a power sharing government thus securing a legacy others will judge him by and not just by the Iraq war.
Gordon Brown a fellow Scot will take over from Blair, not a nice bloke and Bush will not be happy.

Having seen many PMs in my time Blair was one of the better ones, you should just never trust the US when it comes to winning wars, they haven't won since World War II.

We Don't Even Have 300 Nukes.

In a move reminiscent of the Clinton era but only with bad teeth and cockney accents the Conservatives backed the labour government and got a bill to update Britain's nuclear Trident missile system approved. The earlier plan to have sharks with the fricking laser beams attached to their heads was deemed quite silly.
The idea is to have submarines to fire the nukes as you can sneakily deploy them anywhere in the world to get to any target. Its now going to take 17 years to plan the construction of the submarines and find the lowest bidder to build them. Four government officials resigned over this, c'mon wise up, in 17 years there will be mimi nukes fired from rocket cars, the whole sub idea will be obsolete by then, I just laughed when the Tories backed labour, I love Tony Blair hes not a feel good wimp and hes actually still doing his job even though hes leaving soon.

Yeah yeah I know oh we shouldn't have nukes anyway if we want the rest of the world not to build them, well if we gave up ours you just know the Germans would try it on again. I admit I was wrong about Tony Blair when he first took power. I saw him as a no balls liberal type but then he proved me wrong, not afraid to sent troops in to keep the peace in places like Kosovo , Sierra Leone and getting further with peace than anyone in Northern Ireland .
I did gain an amount of respect for him definitely better than the Tories, though the colour red will always be suspect to me.
He only has a few months left until he leaves so hes making his legacy speeches.
