We Will Remember Them ... If It's Dry Out

This may be news to Overt Narcissists but it isn't all about them. When commemorating the 100 years since the end of WWI in France, Trump didn't want to go the 50 miles to the Aisne-Marne American cemetery because it was raining .... no, it was because his helicopter couldn't fly in the alleged zero visibility .... no, it was because he didn't want to cause traffic upsets cos Trump is really thoughtful like that. 

It was the day after the Marine Corp had its 243rd  birthday and of course the Internet trolled Trump as did the French army and also Justin Trudeau.
"As we sit here in the rain, thinking how uncomfortable we must be these minutes as our suits get wet and our hair gets wet and our shoes get wet, I think it's all the more fitting that we remember on that day, in Dieppe, the rain wasn't rain, it was bullets."

Trump sent John Kelly and Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr in his place to visit the 2,289 U.S. troops laid to rest there. Trump said, "have a good time, enjoy yourselves and bring me back something nice,"

New Zealand director Peter Jackson took more time honoring those who have served than the US President did. Remember, Trump doesn't like soldiers who get captured so I doubt he holds much regard for those wounded or killed either ... unless the wounded vote for him.  Jackson had family in the Great war for civilisation and colourised old footage and got in forensic lip readers and actors to give the soldiers a voice. 

  

The documentary They Shall Not Grow Old was shown on the BBC and featured the voices of real veterans who were interviewed in the 1960's. 

What amazes most is the attitude of the young men. Eager to join up and take on the Hun. You can see that sometimes never change. 19 was the age they took recruits at but if a 16 year-old and tried to enlist they'd be told to go outside, have a birthday and come back in aged 19. It's a great adventure until the drill and discipline starts. The news has the new soldiers at putting on a stone and growing an inch in height. All with nice shiny buttons. 

60 years on and though the British army had moved on to semi-auto rifles and sub-machine guns, the discipline, procedures and attitude was still quite familiar. Now the military has little pussy guns made out of plastic so the poor dears don't tire themselves out.    

Another amazing thing is the number of smiles there was. Probably a knee-jerk reaction to the novelty of being on camera. Perhaps the cameraman shouted out to smile for the folks back home. 

It's all a big camping exhibition with a bit of danger. The main thing about the military is the boredom as it's always to hurry up to do nothing. The soldiers of WWI were kept as busy as possible fixing trenches and repairing barbed wire and laying wooden duckboards (trench gratings) to walk on. 

After a while the trenches and war becomes the norm. The Germans had a name for it, Dickfelligkeit (thick-skinnedness) ... no rain fearing snowflake pussies allowed!

Losing friends was just something that happened. You could be with a friend you had grown up with and joined up with and as he stands beside you a sniper might blow his head open.  PTSD has been around (recorded) since the times of the ancient Greeks and was only just given the name of Shell Shock in WWI.  

Until it was understood better, those suffering it to the point of curling up in a ball and crying were seen as cowards or lazy, many were shot. 

General Goerge S Patton who had served in WWI mostly in tanks became the focus of attention in WWII when he slapped 2 soldiers suffering from battle fatigue and ordered them back to the front lines, Eisenhower suppressed the incidents in the media and eventually Patton was ordered to apologize to the soldiers and the Doctors who witnessed it. 

In the army you don't want your friends to think you are a coward so there is also the fear of being afraid. 

A German soldier bumps into a wounded Tommy and gets an angry shove in the shoulder. 

WWI was basically a big Royal family feud but you dress it up in patriotism and send plebs to their deaths. The British and Germans didn't hate each other as seen with The Christmas Truce of 1914. British and Germans left their trenches to play football on no man's land. 

The Generals were enraged as that kind of thing isn't good for war and so forbid any further displays of humanity. In Jackson's documentary, the veterans say how the Bavarians were decent blokes as were the Saxons but the Pussians were cruel bastards even disliked by their own side. 

Adolf Hitler, a WWI vet had hoped that the British would join up with the Germans in WWII as they had so much in common .... or why the Royal family changed their name to Windsor. 

   

WWI was a senseless waste of life and changed those that returned home. Britain not having been touched by war had a struggling economy as like most of Europe and jobs were scarce. The soldiers felt as those they no longer fit in as civilians just didn't understand what had gone on over there. 

A land fit of heroes was a glib phrase used by people and another was  They died that England might live. Older versions of saying Thank you for your service but less personal.  

The soldiers just wanted a job and some respect for their efforts but didn't get much from the clueless civilians or those in charge. Soldiers would get 3 basic medals which caused some resentment.  A paper pusher in a comfortable role away from enemy lines got the same medals as a frontline soldier dodging bullets and many never had their heroic actions acknowledged. 

In WWII the different theatres of war got their own medals such as Africa, Italy and Burma. 

If you can watch the documentary then do so. It tells you the small details of the time. The jingoistic version of war on horseback wrapped in a flag changed as wars got closer to home and was better and more widely documented. 

Killing another human is not natural for most of us so these young men many volunteered and many drafted had to become something they weren't and that the people back home would never have to be or to even see.

Robbing corpses, shooting surrendering soldiers, ignoring your wounded pals as you head towards a hail of bullets over no man's land. Revenge for their fallen friends and the nationalist propaganda helped them to want to kill the enemy. For king and country!  

They didn't have the luxury of worrying about getting their hair wet in the rain or congesting traffic.  

 

20 Things Donald Trump Doesn't Understand

1) Reality: Just because someone wearing a suit and tie presents a news segment on a channel known for bias doesn't make it real. Youtubes are not reliable sources either. Life is also not a TV show and treating it as such with teasers and saying "stay tuned" and making shit happen on Thursdays and Fridays only shows you up as an attention hoor.

He also spreads false Internet stories like the one about General Pershing and would no doubt fall for the evil plans of hacker Jayden K Smith. 

2) Why giving secrets to a rival nation is bad: Russia and China have been insidiously planting themselves into western countries in all manner of ways. No one ever sat down with a young Donald and explained 'Stranger Danger' so it was just assumed he was at the top of the ladder and no one would dare try to pull a fast one.

His need to want to fit in and be one of the big boys outweighs his common sense. Showing off what he knows only showed the world to not tell him shit. If Israel had wanted the Russians to know things they'd tell them.  

3) Treating people like shit isn't good leadership: Even a toady will hold a grudge and one day the tables may be turned. Trump publicly berates the Intelligence community as a motivational tool to say to them, 'I'm watching, work harder' but it back fires and you get Comey writing notes and testifying. He is so used to treating people like shit that his compliments always sound false and insincere.

One week you might be getting publicly shamed and the next you are a terrific guy. Bad mouthing FBI directors to Russians isn't smart either and shows how weak and undisciplined you are. You only fired a nut job? In Russia they get wrapped in tarps and dumped.  

4) The American people are not represented by his white ego validation rallies: These white enclaves of support are like those little backwards towns where white folks are still the majority and like it that way. Sun Down towns had their day and these little groups of bigots are ever decreasing in size. Now he has to go to the likes of Arizona for support, what's next Kansas?

He has underestimated the American people and even his supporting bigots. 3 quarters of a nation is out to get him.  

5) The Internet: From the people that think handing over a server is providing valuable evidence. If your mail was stolen would you give the police yer mail box? Since he doesn't trust the NSA he is talking about setting up a Cyber Command department ... probably because it sounds cool.

Trump doesn't use a computer and probably had someone else set up his Twitter account. 

6) Work ethic: It turns out that his Scottish and German blood was faulty, not enough Protestant guilt over being sinful probably. He thinks that people running after HIM to have a meeting and taking some phone calls is work. Trump puts more effort into golf and Twitter than he does running the cuntry ... and it shows.

Everything is a parade or ceremony caught on camera for Twitter. He even lies about working when he's really playing golf so he knows what he's doing, he's just lazy.

7) The military: Having never been to war he thinks of it as a young inexperienced man does, as a great adventure. Soldiers are supposed to be killed in a glorious hail of bullets saving their buddies not captured or made disabled. He says he respect the military, police and veterans but when he has to live up to that you can see he only respects those he can use.

Ceremonies to honor those serving their country is often just a big long Trump event all about him. He can't even properly speak to Boy Scouts without making it about him. 

No good or decent soldier condones the torture or execution of prisoners. Torture doesn't work as they'll tell you whatever you want to hear, executions only goes to make YOU the bad guy and to give the enemy something to rally around. 

8) Allies & NATO: He treats allies as if they are lazy slackers that work for him. No one pays membership fees in NATO but they do have to spend 2% of their economic output on defense but there is no running tab.
By alienating allies and berating them in public he forms a divide that only weakens the US and the world. He plays into Putin's hands and is seem as a dangerous joke by other leaders.

9) Nazis: Plot twist, Nazis are bad! Nazis, White Supremacists, kkk, White Nationalists, Economic Nationalists the Alt-Right .... all the same fucken thing no matter how you dress it up.

The Nazis killed well over 6 million people in their death camps, they did cruel medical experiments on children and pregnant women, they believed that white people were superior and the other inferior races should either be wiped out or made into slaves. White blokes in polo shirts holding scented candles as they chant Nazi slogans .... not the good guys. Such an easy concept to grasp it shows you what a lack of morals Trump must have.

People attacking Nazis are not the same as Nazis. WWII vets would have an issue with that logic. 

10) History: Trump mixes up time lines and doesn't understand the importance that a few decades make. Andrew Jackson never warned Lincoln about a civil war. Jackson died 16 years before Lincoln took office.
Trump admires Jackson even though crazy ass Jackson would have hated Trump and would have probably dueled him for his derogatory remarks about women.

Comparing Washington and Jefferson to Robert E Lee is clear that Trump doesn't do history. Washington, Jefferson and Lee were all white males and all owned slaves. Only one of them is a traitor to the US though.
Compare Benedict Arnold to Lee if you want to go there. Both slaves owners, both Generals, both traitors to the US and both losers.

Trump thinks 1863 Gettysburg is the address where Lincoln lived. You don't learn history from statues that depict a traitorous loser douchebag looking heroic on a horse, losers don't get statues. 

11) Pop Culture: For being a part of pop culture having been in many movies and his own TV show with a catchphrase and all he doesn't know about pop culture. Being fooled into Re-Tweeting serial killers Fred and Rose West and serial pedo Jimmy Savile is one thing as you can put that down to being a clueless Yank.
However I bet he doesn't know that winter is coming and Daft Punk was totally wasted on him.

12) Women: Somehow he seems to think he's irresistible to women. For every one women attracted to his money and fame I bet their are 20 that are revolted by him. He doesn't value women as people and puts a higher value on beauty.
He certainly doesn't understand the power that women can have when enough of them are angry, if he isn't worried he should be.

12) His Wife: Wife number 3. He cheats with a younger model then marries them. As like the Kennedys the women in Trump's life just have to put up with shit until he says otherwise. Melania hates him but doesn't hate the lifestyle. Complicit in his rantings against Obama she will play along but I suspect it costs him money to have this united front in public. She does the bare minimum as First Lady and probably voted for Hillary.

13) Why he is hated: Trump has had a pampered life with people telling him how great he is even when he wasn't. Now he is held to a different standard. He abused Obama for years with his birther crap yet somehow didn't think he'd be on the receiving end because hey, it's The Don!

The American people need to respect him because he's President ... respect the office!!! Even though he constantly disrespects it himself. Respect has to be earned and he doesn't know how to do it.

The Trump brand has quickly become poison, people are even giving their Ivanka unoriginals to Goodwill.

14) The border wall: His lie about the border wall got whittled down so much that now it's only going to be some keep off the grass signs stretched out over 40 feet and there won't be any grass.

He says that walls work and points to tiny Israel of all places as an example. He never says how the Great wall of China failed or even the Berlin wall. A 50 foot wall just needs a 51 foot ladder.    
 
It all connects with his great white plan to get rid of as many brown people as he can from the US.

15) Foreign Policy: One thing you should never do is over play your hand. For many nations the only thing the US can do to them is hit them with sanctions. To get to the point in which you talk about military action and then back down from it only shows you as being weak. This is why he wants to invest in cyber warfare more.

Russia and China are the main threats in the world, you can't appease them. The reason why China is such a good trading partner is the vastness of the Pacific ocean and the fact that China already owns most of the US anyways. North Korea does not have nukes it can hit the US with, they just won the pissing contest with the US by doing nothing at all.

Trump has shown the world just how weak and impotent the US is. Rival nations probe with flybys and missile tests to see how much of a declining power the US is, Trump goes out of his way to show them.

16) His own image: It isn't the strong successful businessman that can get the best deal possible. Trump is a shallow, glib, insincere, pampered, misogynistic bigot. He's the guy that isn't racist because he has a black friend.

He has been known to harass people that put up unflattering images of him or say negative things about him  ... yeah he's a petty bully too.

He surrounds himself with white people that are mostly male and the few women he has really do try to look good either with tons of make up or plastic surgery ... people he can identity with and that he can manipulate because he doesn't get the ethnics ... unless it's a non-threatening white friendly one like Carson. 

Speaking your mind and being honest can be valued but not when you spew bullshit and lies. His mind sees a different set of optics than others do. His attitude that people should be grateful to him blows up in his face.

  

17) Spelling: Trump went to expensive schools and came out of them with a third rate education, not an easy thing to do. It can be unprecedented/unpresidented, heel instead of heal or covfefe instead of coverage. We all do typos and lucky for us there are always some helpful people out there to point out our mistakes.

He uses the same words over and over but when he uses others he isn't familiar with such as positive words like heal ... what the fuck is that? Heel on the other hand is what he makes his Russia hookers or underage sex slaves do. Heel is also old timey slang for a scumbag criminal.

He typed 'heel' twice in a tweet, deleted that tweet reworded it with 'heel' typed twice again then deleted that and replaced it with heal which was what he meant. It took him 37 mins to do all of this. If only he had put heil, then we'd really have some fun.   

18) Obama: If you think that by undoing everything that Obama did will make America great again then you are clueless. Trump measures himself against Obama and is driven to be better and bigger, it isn't a help America thing it's a showing up the black guy to prove that Trump was right all along.

Obama is Trump's great half white whale. Obama got the US back on it's feet and helped mend its reputation after 8 years of Bush. He was however pretty shite at foreign affairs but at least he knew to be worried about Putin.
Trump also uses Obama and Hillary as distractions by claiming Trump Tower was bugged or something stupid. Maybe it's because Russian mobsters have operated out of Trump Tower in the recent past. 

Trump's constant undoing of Obama era rulings will only make the former president even more popular.

19) What is appropriate: There is a line of not knowing and not caring about what is and what isn't appropriate. When Trump has to think and speak for himself he always goes for something that isn't appropriate like banging his daughter.    
Trump thinks he can do whatever he wants but now the public eye and due process gets in the way of that. Having his daughter stand in for him and lining the pockets of the Trump family is probably seen as a perk of the job to him.

Trump has always hired the best people but now he hires family and those who have shown loyalty to him, good isn't a factor anymore because he's at war from all sides.

Ignoring fallen soldiers he tweets about job numbers and the stock market ... things no one really cares about. A healthy economy is great but not worth repeatedly tweeting about, fallen war heroes and people killed by Nazis however.

20) Being human: A fool at 71 is indeed a fool. Good leaders are made, you really think he's able to become one? He probably doesn't think that there is anything wrong with his leadership skills, the Dems or the FAKE NEWS media are the ones at fault. 

Trump isn't a warm and compassionate person, he's an asshole. He uses people and throws them away when they are of no further use to him. Going by his mannerisms he's probably on the autism spectrum and has possible early dementia.  He sees such things as weaknesses which is why he doesn't like his youngest son who is probably autistic ... maybe he reminds him of himself.

Like those type A personalities that have a mental disorder but refuse to admit it and so it has to be everyone else's problem not theirs.

He is 71, he'd be forever alone if he didn't have his power and money. He'd live in a trailer, his kids or ex wives wouldn't visit nor would any so-called friends. No one enjoys his company they enjoy the perks of it.
He thinks a fake orange tan, dodgy hair and ill fitting suits look good ... he chooses to look like that for fucks sake.   

What Trump does understand is whatever gives him a chubby and turning people against each other. Also giving the appearance of being strong but that doesn't last for long.

Instead of building a Trump dynasty that would rule the US for generations to come he himself is ending it in his short first term.
He likes to go on about winning the election but remember that he lost in 2000 and chickened out after that. Obama's second term ending was the best time as the US would be vulnerable not having an incumbent candidate. Even with the Russian Twitter bots and how easy it is to hack voting machines without anyone knowing he got lucky, nothing more. Gullible voters as blinded by hate as much as he is did the rest.   

The More Things Change

One of the most shocking things about the Watergate scandal wasn't Nixon spying/hacking the DNC, it was the swearing. The straight laced, Quaker, square swore like a sailor ... oh that's right he was a sailor during WWII. Bone spurs or religious beliefs didn't stop him from serving.

When people aren't pointing out the similarities that Hitler and Trump share they compare the Trump admin to the Nixon one.
The two families were long time friends. Nixon had people making fun of him on SNL and Nixon made a General (Haig) his Chief of Staff, they both resented the elites of society. Also neither Trump or Nixon were crooks. They were misunderstood patriots and Ivanka is the White House's cum bucket conscience so back off you mean Liberals.

During an event for Readers Digest a singer (Canadian trouble maker) held up a sign and asked Nixon to stop bombing the slopes gooks people in Nam. She said that Nixon was supposed to be a Christian and if Jesus was here he wouldn't dare drop another bomb.

Someone who seems to be at the ear of everyone since Nixon is Henry Kissinger. A Jewish immigrant who fled Nazi Germany with his family in 1938 he joined up in WWII and mostly due to his ability to speak German was put into military intelligence.

In the late 60's and early 70's the Soviets had banned Jews from immigrating and even taxed the ones in important jobs to prevent a brain drain. Nixon didn't want anything like this to hurt Cold War peace talks so they decided to ignore whatever discrimination was going on there.

Kissinger said during a conversation with Nixon:

"I’m Jewish myself, but who are we to complain about Soviet Jews? It’s none of our business. If they complain, if they made a public protest to us for the treatment of Negroes, we’d be ..." 

It's bad when the government knows how they are treating people but do it anyways. 

The line they took with another minority group 'the gays' is as Nixon put it "they are born that way". 

Nixon:

 "The Greeks. And they had plenty of it. . . . By God, I am not going to have a situation where we pass along a law indicating, “Well, now, kids, just go out and be gay.” They can do it. Just leave them alone. That’s a lifestyle I don’t want to touch ... "

Kissinger wormtongue has been advising every president (unofficially) for decades. He's a part of history. While he's been attached to CIA human rights abuses he is also credited with negotiating a ceasefire for the Vietnam war. 

He advised Trump to accept "Crimea as a part of Russia"  like a little bitch ... pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name. He has met with Putin many times. If he didn't have a rep he'd be totally investigated. He's a member of those rich people groups mentioned on conspiracy websites that go on about Deep State and New World Order. 

Burying some bodies

Hillary Clinton described him as a "friend and a source of counsel" and Kissinger has praised her stint as Secretary of State. She helped crash Russia's economy for fucks sake, you won't see Trump 'strong on Russia' do such a thing. 

Bernie Sanders who doesn't have Clinton's way the wind blows moral compass said, "I am proud to say that Henry Kissinger is not my friend. I will not take advice from Henry Kissinger." ... oh snap! 

Kissinger is estimated at being close to 3,000 years old but is probably much older. He'll no doubt die now that I've hinted at him being Satan ... time for another body. 

What we need from the current admin to really be like Nixon is some dodgy CIA action. Remove lil Kim from power in North Korea maybe, chances are we'll find out. 

Is Donald Trump Batman?

Ever since a tall caped crusader hit the streets to fight crime cos police are shite, we've wondered who he is. Crusader or Vigilante, Good or Evil, Chunky or Smooth? ... It's all a matter of perspective. 

To be that strong and agile you'd have to be a top athlete and to have such cool but expensive gadgets you'd have to be rich.

So we're looking for a wealthy male that plays sport ... perhaps tennis or golf as they are the only sports that could get you into that kind of shape. Bill Gates plays tennis but doesn't like confrontation. Richard Branson is a soft Brit and you couldn't mistake those teeth so who could it be?

According to some at the White House he handles himself all the time as his wife has her own bedroom and she doesn't like interruptions when her assistant Jake is rubbing her shoulders to get rid of her headaches.   

On Trump's Wiki page he says that his two main hates in life are bats, Mexicans and playing by the rules. 

His fear of bats comes from the time when one got caught in his hair and rather than mess up his hair it was killed and allowed to decay naturally. Having your hair messed with can be traumatic so the last ting you'd want to do is dress like a prat bat so that's him out of the running.  

If you look at Trump's time line on Twitter you'll see he's a fan of the dark knight. He even signed a bill (what another one?) for police not to arrest him and to provide assistance if there is running or fighting to be done. 

Dementia sufferers have trouble registering black & will often go around it, like a huge black limo.  

Could a 71 year-old obese man be crime fighter? His erratic behavior and classic symptoms of dementia makes people wonder 'what if Batman suffered from dementia?' ... everyone asks he this question all the time.

Ronald Reagan was allowed to carry on as President for years when it was clear he was ill. Excuses were made for his mistakes and he was given a free pass.

The Batman of today has gotten noticeably older and wider. When interrogating the Joker he let slip about his secret Bat Cave and the raid he was going to do on the Penguin. He also insisted on being called Mr President. The Joker was really confused when Batman asked if he had seen the millions and millions of people at the Inauguration in January. Not a very routine kind of interrogation.

It was then that Boy Wonder popped his head round the door and told him him that Fox and Friends was starting and there was ice cream. He had to come now and quickly though or Super Steve would eat it and turn the TV over to watch Hitler on the History Channel. Batman yelled "To The Bat House!" and left. 

 

The next day Sean Spicer had a press briefing in which he stated that Batman was obviously joking  and that people needed to stop listening to words and the media needed to stop putting meaning to them especially when they are said in sentences.

Well it looks like Batman isn't Donald Trump then if Spicer said it. If Batman did have dementia then that would explain why the Batmobile (Batcell in the US) was left parked for 3 weeks until getting towed.

It might also explain the increasing amount of civilian deaths when Batman fires his grappling hook at them by accident and the hobo he shot dead on 5th Ave. Luckily the police can't arrest him under the Batman woops clause that was signed into law. 

Batman isn't the hero America needs, it's the hero it deserves ... yeah that'll fucken teach them. We might not know who he is but we'll rest easy knowing that banks, big businesses, The Trump family and their friends and for some reason golf courses are safe under his watchful shifting darting piggy like eye.  

Terrorism Is A Mild Inconvenience

I like you terribly ... I say, don't go making a scene, people are watching. 

Being uptight and emotionally stunted has served the British well. We once ruled a quarter of the world through sheer stubbornness and the idea that we were superior. Centuries of repression is starting to crumble but on the whole we are still pretty fucked up or as we like to call it stoic and reserved. 

The recent Manchester bombing upset us because it targeted children and the recent London attack may have upset us too but it has also made us jolly well angry. 

When a nation like the British or any other western nation that doesn't have daily attacks like Kabul gets attacked a couple of times the last thing it wants is other nations trying to score points off the misery. 

London Mayor Sadiq Khan is a Muslim who has previously expressed disappointment at the US letting reality TV star and con man Donald Trump get as far up the food chain as he has. 

Trump is a petty bloke that holds grudges for decades. He probably has a book of people on his shit list. The Mayor said something like 'there will be an increased police present in the streets after this attack no reason to be alarmed'.

A pretty innocuous statement in the context it was used in but Trump took it out of context. Like he did with Khan's other statement about terrorism being part and parcel of living in a big city. The bit Khan said about how we have to be prepared for attacks when living in a big cosmopolitan city never gets mentioned by Trump. 

Trump wants support for his Muslim ban .... oh that's right he stopped calling it that, it's now a TRAVEL BAN. He wishes to paint Muslims as people with a secret agenda to stir up his supporters. He also wants distraction from James Comey's testimony because Trump is as guilty as fuck.

Khan is a Muslim, he therefore (according to Trump) wants white people to put up with and accept attacks from ISIS ... Hitler used division to stir up hate against the Jews. Them and us and they can't be trusted. 

Yes the UK does have a problem with integration. That's what happens when you have a government of rich white people running down services and also have a state religion. Portions of the nation will feel like outsiders in their own cuntry. People will look for someone to blame and rather than the rich white people with magic money trees in the Bahamas they look to the hard working immigrant ... why are they doing so well and we aren't?  A perceived sleight blown out of proportion by our right wing newspapers. 

I point to the Catholics of Northern Ireland, a lack of education and job opportunities, I point to the black communities in the US too. An unequal society will cause division and hatred. 

What we don't want is some bloody American trying to stir up trouble in the UK as he has done in the US. We go to the polls tomorrow and will hopefully vote our cuntry to become a more equal place to live for all colours and religions.  

Or we'll just have the same of shit because voters are either apathetic or stupid.

The Nazis bombed the fuck out of us and it didn't break us ... America never got bombed. We then had to scrape through years of rationing as the US bloomed and as Germany had money thrown at it and was rebuilt. We've had to make do with less. 

We refused to acknowledge our feelings and did what any normal person would do, we drank and became a nation of functioning alcoholics. We didn't have the cutting edge therapists that the Americans had and mental health was seen as a weakness and not addressed properly. Stiff upper lip old chap.

Not very healthy but this suck it up, pull your boot straps up attitude made us different to the Americans. Now thanks to cultural infection we object to Theresa May cutting police numbers and telling them to work harder. We sort of address our feelings now so the likes of Nigel Farage can run on the old 'political correctness is bad' wagon, the same one Trump rode on.    

Ah the good old days of calling the wogs niggers and they respected you for it and they loved a jolly good flogging but now Liberals have gotten the cuntry totally gay except you can't say that now, how retarded huh? 

The older generation is dying out and soon enough we'll all be wusses respecting each other and have equality an shit. The only problem is that those in the Middle East, Russia and China etc will still be tough fuck you up people.

We don't cower and reel we go to those places that were attacked the day after and live life as normal.

When 9/11 happened I thought it was tragic but the non-stop media coverage afterwards probably fucked up more people than the event. I could see from American reaction that they hadn't a clue about terrorism.  Their society was open, soldiers would walk about in uniform when off duty.

In Northern Ireland police stations and military barracks were like fortresses, you couldn't drive into Belfast city centre because there were checkpoints and barriers. Men women and children were patted down if they wanted to go do some shopping ... it was like how Israel is today I suppose. Walls were built to divide Protestant and Catholic neighbourhoods ... they were called peace lines or peace walls. 

If you were a member of the security forces you had to keep your job a secret. Never wear your uniform, try not to look like a soldier and check your car for bombs before you leave home. You and your family were targets. 

Bomb evacuations were a part of life. A suspect car parked on your street would have police going door to door to empty houses. Your place of work had drills like fire drills and everyone knew where to go. Buses and trains were always disrupted.

Every year we have the 11th July and the 12th ... otherwise known as get drunk and carry out grudges time. Windows get broken, bottles of paint thrown at houses and vehicles set on fire.   

Terrorism isn't scary to us, it's a pain in the hole. People you know also happen to be the terrorists from one side or another.

  

Police never do anything fast. Everything takes 3-4 hours. Clearing a traffic crash, blowing up a suspect car, removing a suspect device ... and it's never done during nice weather, it's always freezing.

Living a few streets from a police station might have your windows shattered from the blast of bombs if they get attacked. A small blast might just bend your windows in a little without them breaking if you are lucky. Seeing a glass window bend in then snap back into place is very odd. Houses on the Short Strand part of Belfast got strengthened glass onto their houses as they were stick of people throwing bricks through them. 

Also try getting a taxi during periods of civil (rioting) unrest. Many taxi firms just won't go to some places. If you are hourly paid you may lose money as your place of work could get closed early. No customers and too dangerous for employees to be there.

There were army and police checkpoints and patrols that would stop you and search you.

The terrorists didn't break us. The cunts are still going around shooting each other it hasn't stopped. There has been some peace and change and what that did was give us time to think. Suddenly it turned out that a whole generation or two had PSTD. Health services struggled to cope and our suicide level continued to stay high.

We still drink and we still don't let these bullies dictate our lives. The people on the mainland are the same but without the daily experiences. 

Sadiq Khan might be brown and Muslim ... whatever ... he's British and he's one of us so back the fuck off. Tony Blair didn't publicly attack Rudy Giuliani the day after 9/11. What kind of cunt does that?   

Keep your guns if you think it keeps you safe though I bet the majority of Americans would piss themselves during an attack and not fire a shot. We headbutt terrorists, we fight off their knife attacks with battons or chase them and throw things at them. A bloke attacked one with a skateboard and he was Spanish for fucks sake.

Trump can't even intimidate a Frenchie who is half a foot shorter than him. We really do not need him or his draft dodging opinion. 

We'll mourn our dead, tend our wounded and ask why our Prime Minister cut police, MI-5, MI-6 and GCHQ funding over their years while in power. 

We'll root out any further terrorists and stay alert for the next attack for there will be a next attack. For every civilian we kill with our bombs in the Middle East 40 new enemies will be created. Of course there will be more attacks with those kind of tactics.

Trump and the US media are like that hysterical women in the movies that you slap to calm down. Shut the fuck up and have a cup of tea.
