Big Jim has promised to not hit his wife Cherri for a year and says he'd forgive her for being a worthless slag during that time. "She deserves a good back hander but during my year of mercy she can make it all up to me."
Family and friends see this as a move forward in their marriage that has 3 young children and think that Jim is a wonderful husband unlike Cherri's ex who would never have had a year of mercy.
