Seriously, Robyn. Older yes, but very good looking still and extremely charming. I told him i was into acting and he advised me against it, saying 'do a proper job, i've just been lucky'. He was filming a tv series, can't remember the name, with Deborah Kerr whom i was also privileged to be with for that short time. I have photos! Perhaps i'll post them on my Things UK if you'd be interested? Sorry, Old K, banging on here about all this on your blog.
Mitchum was excellent in Cape Fear, The Big Sleep and that other flick which had him smoking.... he dribbled but that wasn't his fly said round the blueberry cheese tree
